You can't even get in touch with someone at the pharmacy without going to onsite. They seem to no longer be answering calls, forcing you to leave a voicemail. This is such a terrible experience, I'm not sure if CVS is doing this everywhere now or just some locations, but I hope they lose a lot of business if this is how they want to treat customers.
UPDATING REVIEW: woman from the pharmacy was extremely rude when she called back. She didn't even answer the questions that I left on the voicemail. She actually had the nerve to hang up the phone while I was in the middle of talking. I will never do business here again and I will let everyone know of my experience

A poker face pharmacist, did not apologize for CVS' errors. Reported to CVS customer service and asked for a formal apology which never happened. Glad I sold CVS stock way back.

I needed to speak with a pharmacist. Despite multiple attempts to contact a live pharmacist' the automated call center hung up on me.

Must have changed management recently in the pharmacy. They refused to contact my doctor on an Rx that CVS messed up. Made up some stupid excuse. My doctor just called CVS three days earlier to straighten it out. Changing to Savon at ACME. This is the third go around and CVS refuses to make any effort to correct it.

It honestly does not surprise me that the ratings and reviews are so bad for this CVS.
My husband and I have a 14 year old cat who is diabetic (has been for 2 years) and every time we go there they give us a hard time about needles for our cat but usually give in and give it to us. Tonight the lady (I'm assuming the head pharmacist) refused point blank to give us the syringes for our cat. She was absolutely rude and has no business being in the industry of HELPING others. I will be reporting this woman (thank you name tags) to our state board of pharmacy and also to the FDA.
How dare you refuse the things we need for our fur babies health. I can assure you we are not the only people in Newtown with a pet with diabetes.

I wish there could have 0-star option. I went the location to add cash to my CaptialOne account. The process is very simple (I did it previously at the same location): I use the CaptialOne app to generate a bar code, they just need to scan the bar code and check if the amount of cash to be added agrees with the amount from the bar code. To my surprise, none of the 3 staff members there want to do it, they wait there doing nothing until the expiration of the bar code. This is actually my 2nd failed experience in the past couple of weeks, so frustrating!

Today, I went to CVS and guess …. Michael is still there; nothing has been changed. Approximately one month ago, I had “interesting” experience with Michael…. He is extremely rude, unprofessional and unpleasant. I was very shocked, that this person is actually a pharmacist and works with customers/ people.
Next day, I called CVS headquarters, spent 45 minutes getting the right person, submitted complain and asked for the case #. Also, I asked person on the phone to read Google reviews related to Michael and she did it. She assured me, that in the next two weeks, I would get the call back. I was so naive, that I will be getting calls. None, nothing after waiting a month. Today, I went to CVS and guess… Michael is still there; nothing has been changed.

I had an incredibly frustrating experience dealing with CVS Pharmacy, specifically with pharmacist Michael. When I called to inquire about my prescription, he was not only rude but also accused me of having a fake prescription and refused to fill it. He claimed to have called my doctor's office to confirm, which turned out to be a lie. Moreover, his behavior made me feel discriminated against, possibly due to my Hispanic heritage. After reaching out to my doctor's office myself, they confirmed the validity of my prescription, and within an hour of their intervention, my prescription was ready at CVS. It's unacceptable for CVS to employ individuals who engage in discriminatory behavior and display such unprofessionalism. I cannot believe anyone handling patients and medication speaks to people like this. CVS needs to address this issue promptly to ensure the integrity of their services and the respect for their customers

Minute clinic was great. Was told medicine would be immediately transferred over and I can have my 3 year old get her medications quickly. This was not the case. The pharmacist claimed to not have received the the prescription for over 20 minutes and then when I asked about the status he told me to wait an additional 20 minutes with an attitude and another snotty response. I said ok , my daughter is tapped out can we just transfer the prescription ? Again with the attitude and “ no, you have to call.” Sat and wasted 40 minutes with a 3 year old and met with attitude and condescension. Had I been a Karen and asked for the manager instead of trying to be reasonable maybe I would’ve received better service or less attitude
