Once again, these folks came through! Bryce was great. Cleaned my Moms pellet stove and got it running. Answered all my questions about switching over to a gas insert, because Mom is not getting any younger and hauling pellets in the house is getting hard for her. I love this company.

Had a set of old gas logs removed from a fireplace and the gas line capped. Ian & Carlton were professional, friendly, and efficient. They got the work done quickly and left everything clean. Thank you!

I purchased a Ambiance Hipster 14 (I know the name ) from AES this fall and am very happy with the stove’s performance to date, very wood efficient. A thank you to Matt at Newville location , and also Alex who helped me load it on my trailer, was a good purchasing experience, would do business there again

I cannot thank everyone enough at AES, especially Matt. A part in our old fireplace was broken and was no longer being manufactured. The company stated that made the fireplace said so sad, too bad, you'll need a new fireplace. AES could have easily went along with that, but they didn't. Matt spent hours of his own time researching until he found a company that was still manufacturing these old parts. He saved us about 10 grand or more. We loved them before and love them even more now. My deepest appreciation and thanks!

So, we have been waiting for months to get both our chimneys (pellet and fireplace) cleaned with the same reasoning each time of limited manpower/scheduling issues. The temperature is dropping quickly and as a customer of many years and on their loyalty program with young children in the house, this is highly disappointing. At this time, I do not recommend them if they can do this to loyal customers that have called several times for updates with the same reasoning each time.

Not a fan. They were supposed to waterproof our chimney, not sure if they even did it... still getting the wet soot smell when it rains or is even humid out. They were worried about shoving a liner in our chimney. $$$

AVOID THEM!!!!!! We have had nothing but a nightmare of an experience with AES. It started about 2 years ago, they had come to do an inspection middle of September and we were quoted approximately $4400 to get our chimney to where it needed to be. We agreed and paid 50% down deposit. We were told they were scheduling 3 weeks out for work and someone would call us to schedule. No one called. We called and inquired and the lady LAUGHED when we mentioned we were quoted 3 weeks out, in which we waited 2 weeks and never received a phone call like promised. They squeezed us in for the middle of October and were told it was going to be approximately 9 hours of work split into 2 days. The first day was to be 6 hours of work, which was scheduled for a Wednesday and they were to return on Friday for the remaining 3 hours of work. They came Wednesday and did 1 1/2 hours worth of work. When I called to inquire why there wasn't 6 hours of work done, they told me that the scheduler thought they had finished the project and cancelled our Friday appointment!!!!! How did the scheduler think they finished 9 hours of work in 1 1/2 hours?!?!?! Mind you...we already paid a chunk of money!!! They told us they would come back November 10th to finish!!! I was upset and they squeezed us in sooner, but because the weather had gotten cold, they couldn't finish the part of the project where they were to seal the chimney, which was to protect the chimney for 10 years. Mind you, I originally contacted them end of August. I was told, "at least you are saving $1000". We didn't "save" $1000". We just didn't get $1000 worth of work completed as promised. Christmas Day 2021, a metal pole, that held the smoke shield, literally fell out of our chimney into the fire and we had been getting smoky haze in our basement. I call on Dec 26th and they send 2 technicians. They fix the pole and try to troubleshoot where the smoke is coming from in the basement. They have no idea! They also let us know that we can't use our fireplace because mortar needs repaired. Had they finished their sealing job in the first place, I wouldn't need additional mortar replaced!!!! We were advised not to use our fireplace and someone will call us to schedule an appointment to repair. Again, we never received a phone call! However, they were kind enough to send us a $120 bill for the service call, to fix their faulty work. I called and left a v-mail that we weren't paying it. We never heard back from them, but also never received a bill. (imagine that) We have spent thousands of dollars and still have a fireplace that we can't use!!!! I saw an AES truck just the other day and wanted to warn others! AVOID!!!! Thinking a call to our lawyer is well overdue....

I've dealt with AES for 7 years on chimney cleanings and woodstove repairs. Their customer service has always been top notch and I would recommend them to anyone!

Tried to get a fireplace Conversion done. In my opinion one of the worst experiences with a local store I've had in years. They Never return phone calls. Never finish the work. Made a mistake and Paid them in full for the job and didn't deliver it on time. Not even close. I bought several fireplaces and never really had a great experience from them but this was the worst. I Went into the store personally several times to resolve. They promised action but than Ignored again for 30 days. On three separate occasions. Would not recommend anybody use this store. Their customer service is hands-down one of the worst in Mechanicsburg. They billed me almost $1300 for a job that should've cost $800 compared to other vendors. And they still never finished the job or work.

Rick is as dishonest as they come. After faulty installation, Rick refused to meet with me at his showroom in Camp Hill and called local PD to ask us to leave. Met with Rick and his lawyer to have properly installed pipe work. Rick did send his techs to install new chimney and stove pipe (with proper length so the 2 pipes would actually connect) after this meeting however, he continues to blame the owner rather than accept accountability. Never hire again!

Left a voicemail on Friday for a service appointment and received a call-back Monday morning. Sarah, the customer service rep, was very nice and extremely informative. It felt good to have a quick resolution and response to our inquiry. Will definitely be using their service and products. Thank you Sarah!
