Dan and his guy in the garage arranged to make it appear that I had a puncture in a tire of mine and then tell me I needed to repair a slow leak before they would sign off on the state inspection. I know this because I took the tire to the place where I bought it and they tested all four tires and said there was no slow leak. This Firestone dealer refused to respond to the Better Business Bureau and to the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania attorney generals office following my complaints. I would be sad to discover that they pulled this on me because I told them I am a 100% disabled veteran who rarely leaves his apartment. A sad way of doing business.

The service was fast, the Techs are polite and explained every detail to me. My car runs Great thanks I won't go anywhere else.

CAN’T RECOMMEND. I took my car in for an oil change, they convinced me to do a state inspection as well. For some reason they had me move my car to a different place (out of my sight) for a few minutes before they got to it. Then, before they brought it into the garage, they asked me to come out and see where my tire was punctured. There was a flimsy wire sticking out of the side of the tire (how is that possible?). They said they would look into it. Later, they reported a slow leak in the tire. They said they could not sign off on the state inspection unless I replaced the tire. I had them order a replacement, expensive as it turns out. It took a couple of days for the replacement to arrive, so I brought the car back to the dealer that sold us the four tires, they tested all the tires, and there was no leak at all. We drove 200 miles on a mini vacation, and there was no leak. Also, after being in this shop, the left headlight was suddenly faulty, BROKEN FROM THE INSIDE. They have not signed off on the safety inspection even though I have notified them repeatedly at the email address they gave me that there was no leak. I told them I hated to think that they took advantage of me because I shared with Dan before the work was done that I am designated by the VA to be 100% disabled with PTSD from the Vietnam war. It is very painful for me to deal with this, more than with most people. Please disregard the insincere comment that they will write following this review. I have told Dan that I will begin today by contacting his district manager, then the Better Business Bureau, the FTC, the Pennsylvania attorney generals office, the Pennsylvania professional compliance office, and if necessary the police. All of these were recommended online. I’m sure I will get help from one or more of these offices that track alleged fraud.PS. As of January 3, 2024, Firestone complete auto care is refusing to respond to my complaint thru the Better Business Bureau. Interesting… what a missed opportunity… This kind of review stays here for a very long while. It would have taken very little to make this right.PPS. As of Feb 23, 2024, this business has failed to respond to any of the complaints I have filed against them. Besides being a 100% disabled veteran, I am also a Christian minister who had to retire early because of PTSD from the war. I’m not going to pursue this further. I have simply tried to tell the truth of what happened here. Do business with Dan and the rest of the gang at your own risk.PPPS. Today, 27 February 2024, the attorney general's office of the commonwealth of Pennsylvania sent me a report indicating that this firestone complete auto care business has refused to participate in the mediation process. That is their right. But it is also a sad way to do business.

This is our second year with Firestone and I love them. They are honest, do what you ask, don’t make up what’s wrong with your car when you come in go one specific thing. Most important to me is their customer service. They are always friendly and recently exceedingly helpful. My key fob broke on the way to my appointment (you know that’s $$$) Dan took his time and fixed it for me. I really appreciated that. I will be a repeat customer. #customerservicestillmatters

I came in for an alignment adjustment that I knew needed to be done. They treated me like I couldn't possibly be sure what needed to be done to my vehicle, presumably because I'm a woman. After telling them I only wanted the alignment adjusted and waiting for it, they come out with a clipboard and tell me that my inspection will be due next month, so they can do it now for me. However they claimed a tail light was out and needed to be replaced before it could pass inspection, and that it would be $250 to pay the mechanic for the 1 hour minimum of work it would take to replace a tail light. I declined this offer, and asked for my car alignment report.Shockingly, the exact adjustment (toe on my passenger side front) I claimed needed to be done (and was told there is no way I could know) was what was adjusted. I also checked all my lights after the appointment, and NONE of my headlights or taillights were faulty. I am confident they thought they could make some quick money off of me and were very condescending - avoid them at all costs!

The person at the counter was professional and friendly. My car went in quickly, and the work was done quickly as well. Waiting room was neat and clean.

Just the most bizarre experience I’ve had at any store. I wouldn’t trust them. Playing a certain card because you disagree with an opinion is bad business.

I just called this shop to check on the status of my car which is with them for state inspection. The person who answered stated that "it is not his job" to provide status update to customers only the manager can do it. At 3pm on Monday, the manager is gone for the date and cannot be reached until the next day. This is no way to run a business! I will escalate to both the franchise owner and to the brand / franchisor.

I’ve been using Firestone for couple of years now. I have moved to new area & they already had my info so was a easy appointment. They always provide reliable service. They are always friendly and helpful. They also recommended services but they leave it for us to decide.
