Poor experience all around. My insurance company set up Safelite to come out after getting a chip in the center of my windshield. The tech came out to fix and ended up making it look worse. Sent pictures of the “fix” to my insurance company. They determined the windshield now needed to be replaced. Safelite came out and replaced my windshield, I was not home for the repair, it was left in my driveway. They notified me they completed the replacement and suggested that I do not drive or take the tape off until the following day. The next morning I immediately notice a dent on my hood, right by the windshield. I notified my insurance company again and this is where it got interesting. Safelite quickly said they couldn’t have done it, without seeing pictures. Then once they received pictures, “they determined” that it could not have been their fault. I expressed my frustration to my insurance company who agreed that it was Safelite fault. Safelite made many appointments to come check out in person and never showed up. They sent a service tech out to take photos and on our last conversation said they have photos of the damage which shows they could not have done it, but instead it was preexisting. I laughed and told them that I know they have photos since I was there when the tech came out to take the photos, after the repair. Safelite refuses to repair damage that their tech caused and doesn’t take responsibility at all. I would recommend to find another service company, management and customer service is horrible and even worse to deal with. Thank goodness my insurance company was advocating for me or I never would’ve received communication. They just wanted to blow it off.

Couldn't have been easier. I was able to make an appointment with the East Norriton shop within a couple days to replace the windshield in my 2012 GM car. Dropped off the car, which took very little time since I'd scheduled the service online. The waiting room is a bit small; so I got a ride back home from my daughter so I could work. The car was done within an hour. The new windshield looks identical to the factory one in terms of shading around the rear view mirror and the degree of tint and identifies that it was Made in the USA. The current inspection stickers from the old windshield were taped and waiting for me on the passenger side floor. Since I'd taken care of payment online, pickup took almost no time at all. The young lady at the front desk was pleasant and professional. I have no complaints at all about the overall experience.NOTE: If you haven't been to this location before, the customer entrance is around to the LEFT side of the building. If you proceed to the second entrance to the parking lot, it will be right there to the front of the left side of the building. There's a small sign out front with an arrow at the first lot entrance, but the arrow is covered by the grass and such growing there.

I only gave 1-star because I had to- to write this review. My 1st appointment on 7/20- tech arrived & realized they ordered the wrong window. Rescheduled to yesterday 7/25- I left keys for tech. He left a voicemail saying he couldn't finish due to rain. BUT he took the clear plastic off my front passenger door window opening & then applied plastic that sticks to itself. The plastic is covering PART of my window opening & is bunched up so I can't see thru it to drive. Tech said he vacuumed up the glass, BUT there are still chunks in my console & tiny shards on front seat, & glass pieces all across sidewalk (that I previously spent an hour cleaning up). My interior obviously got wet from window not being properly recovered. New appointment today 7/26...tech name "Karlton" was due here between 8am & 5:30pm. At 4:35pm I called customer service because Karlton still hadn't called telling me he was on his way here. They had dispatch call to the job he was on & they told me "there was a mix-up & he had the wrong piece of glass for my car"! They said Karlton was coming back to the shop to get my window & would be here by around 6pm. I called back at 7:30 when I still hadn't heard from anyone & got a recording "safelite closed at 5pm & to Call back during business hours". !!!!! TOMORROW!!!!No one had the decency to reach out to me all day. My car interior got wet from the rain yesterday & it is in worse condition than before. 3 appointments & my window STILL ISNT FIXED.They obviously do not care about this customer. I will never use them again. I wouldn't even refer them to my worst enemy.

Safelite provides customer service at a level that just isn’t common anymore!! They were phenomenal. Easy, convenient and available appointment times within a few days! They come right to you! They call before hand multiple times to keep you updated and you do not even have to be present ! What can be a very time consuming stressful situation, they make so simple!!! They also took care of everything with my insurance and it was covered at 100%. I’ve used them multiple times and I Highly recommend! Thank you!!!

The fix of the windshield chip was good and no issues thus far. I had ordered the additional window protection, but was told they hadn't packed it in the truck so couldn't do it. I also thought they should have probably cleaned the windshield as part of the general servicing of a windscreen.

A rock hit my windshield while driving on the highway! Was super easy to schedule an appointment with Safelite and the repair took about an hour. They deal with the insurance company so you won’t get a headache ?

I had a horrible experience this morning, because I arrived at 8:30am instead of 8am. I was punished to wait 6 days to get my windshield replaced. No cars in the bay area. ? Techs outside smoking ?. Great customer service.

My car window was smashed by landscapers. I contacted Safelite online and scheduled an appointment for five days later. When the technician arrived, he realized he had the wrong window since it was the passenger window on the driver side. He had the passenger window on the passenger side. I rescheduled the appointment for a few days later. In the meantime, I'm driving around with plastic over to the broken window. On the day they were to come out for the second time the technician called and told me he was running late and would not be able to come today as scheduled. I called the Norristown Safelite shop to complain, and they finally reluctantly agreed to have a technician come out at the end of the day. When the technician arrived, he started working on the window, and then realized he two had the wrong window. By by this time the shop was closed. I canceled my pending payment any further appointment. I have scheduled the work to be done elsewhere. Norristown Safelite is an utter disgrace do not do business with them.

Had a rough installation. Windshield was not installed properly and had wind noise and leaks. Tech reused - one time use molding. 2nd tech identified issue with intall from 15 feet away. Several attempts at correction failed. Due to constant leaking, electronic head unit in vehicle failed. +$1,000 worth of repairs. While "corrected" wind noise persists.

Rock flew off truck going opposite way and cracked windshield. I contacted Safelite even before I contacted my insurance company (Allstate) because I already knew they were the preferred provider for Allstate Auto Ins.Scheduled for 3 days after I called and came to my office to replace. Becaujse I had them come to my office, I had a $100.00 deductible and it was done in an hour. Great job and they re-aligned all the technical electronics that rely on the windshield.Couldn't have been easier. Why the heck wouldn't you iuse these guys? Especia;lly with insurance.Ed R. I made an appointment and was seen very quickly. Everyone I have interacted with has been genuinely nice as well as helpful! I hope to not need their services in the future, but if I encounter another rock, I'll be coming here. ?

I can't believe that the person doing the work did not let me know it was done and have me look at it. They just left and never knocked at the door. It would have been nice to let me check the work . Not very good customer service.

Good fast and quick service! Made an appointment one day in advance, dropped off vehicle at 9:30am had it back by 2pm. Very quick turnaround time with good price, would recommend!
