Honest and reasonably priced.
They made my car safe to drive again after new rotors, breaks, and oil change. We even added an inspection at the last minute and they were very accommodating. They even gave us a coupon.

I am writing to inform you of a potential issue with the training of technicians at one of your locations, on 11/24/24 I brought my car to 12043 Lincoln way North Huntington Pa 15642 to get a hole patched and 2 tires thrown on as indicated by their claim, my vehicle's rusted rocker panels prevented lifting, which implies a lack of knowledge or laziness, as they are not designed to handle the stress of lifting the entire vehicle, and can easily be damaged.
Having spent 3 years in a vocational technical school for automotive, I understand that rocker panels are primarily for aesthetics and some minor structural support, not designed to bear the weight of the entire car when lifted. It is vital to use the designated jack points located on the car's frame for lifting it safely.
I hope you understand my concern and that one your techs doesn’t drops someone’s car.

This store has been hit or miss in the past, but recently mostly misses. I brought my last truck here almost exclusively and the service was always quick. Until one of the last times I ordered tires online and scheduled my service visit. I took time off work to go have new tires put on and when I got there I was told that the tires for my truck weren’t there and he wanted me to come back several days later. Keep in mind this was after receiving multiple confirmations both through email and text about my appointment being ready. Ultimately I ended up leaving and rescheduling my appointment and they ended up eating the installation cost since I explained I now had to miss more work. I recently got a new truck and brought it here to have them switch my tires from stock 17x8.5 inch wheels to aftermarket 17x8.5 inch wheels and rebalance and align afterwards. I showed up shortly after calling to confirm they would do this, and was met at the front desk by a younger guy who appeared to be in charge. A female worker must have briefed him on what work was being done to my truck and his response to me was to rudely say “we aren’t putting some big ass wheels on are we because we can’t do that”. After I explained they were the same size wheels just a different color he just said “okay” and took my keys. Half way through the install one of the mechanics opened the door and called me over to see two of the wheels installed on my truck and complimented how they looked. Within seconds the same younger guy came over and rudely reprimanded the mechanic (in front of me) for showing me my truck. Every interaction with this younger worker was very demeaning. Also on top of this awkward situation two of my tires were completely out of balance and I had to take it to Mathew’s tire to have it done right, that’s where I’ll be going from now on.

Came to have repairs done that I was told were necessary to pass inspection. However, Pep Boys said the repairs were unneeded and successfully inspected my car. They could have charged me for unneeded repairs and did not. It's nice to know there are still honest businesses today. Thank you!

Had a roof nail in my tire. Made an on line appointment for noon on a Friday. Was told it would take 45 minutes to repair, I was done and out of there for $32 in 30 minutes. Thank you.

Booking was easy prices are in the high side but it's about convenience! Had rear brakes done in about an hour. Booked the appointment in the middle of the night for the next morning and it was painless showed up 5 mins late not a problem and slept in their waiting room lol I work nights. All in all if you need a quick fix come here.

I highly recommend Pep Boys in Irwin. Not only were they able to get me in very quickly and take care of my issues. They were very polite and professional.they aslo reccomended a great welder. The employees at pep boys were very honest and upfront and made me feel like i wasnt just another customer. I will definitely come back when i need them again!
