So expensive! It costs more here to get shots than it costs to get surgery at another vet.

They are soooo nice and friendly, especially Francesca she got me through a rough time with my cat. This place is bright and cheerful, and they truly do care for your pets, from the ladies at the front desk to the vet techs and veterinarian. Their prices are very reasonable. I would highly recommend this place.

I don't want to even give a 1 star for this corporately owner nightmare. I have been dealing with this office since they originally opened with Dr. Steve. Prior to going corporate, my pets and myself were always welcomed with respect and warmth. Now, to even call is disrespect and irritation right from the start with the receptionist. There is no warmth anymore, your pet is just a number and money going into corporates pockets. The feeling walking in is not love for the animal, it's money and a number. My family of fur babies will NOT ever go back to this establishment.

Extremely knowledgeable and compassionate staff. I never felt rushed or overcharged. I have always been pleased with the attention to detail and patience with our pets. Hunter, Puff, Heidi and Anja thank all of you.

Ive taken my cat here once. It was $70 just to see the vet, not including any other SURPRISE FEES. My bill for simple ear treatment and medication was close to 150 bucks. They are VERY EXPENSIVE for the area. 150 for a basic exam and ear medicine. Not to mention when I found an abandoned cat and asked them to see if they would be willing to even take a look and make sure the animal was ok I was told that they would charge me the normal rate and if the cat had feline AIDS I would have to pay for the animal to be put down. I took the cat to Animal Friends and paid 30 bucks for EVERYTHING, including shots.Since they are owned by a corporate overlord, they're main goal is revenue. They will NOT work with you on a payment plan. Best hope you can get approved for care credit. I called just to prepare for a worst case scenario. I wanted to know how much they would be willing to work with me if something extreme was found, since my cat was having potential gut/throat issues. And I got laid off and am working part time right now. They made it clear they would either find 'alternative treatments', refer me somewhere else, or just refuse service. I understand its a general practice and cant do the extensive work or surgeries. but if you aren't willing to work with the public you serve and you charge this much?Vets should NOT operate like car mechanics. I shouldn't have you coming out from the back and telling me its going to be HUNDREDS and then refuse service. These are living beings, not cash cows!

My dog Ottis was bitten by another dog it was very traumatic for both Ottis and myself .He was bitten on his head and leg and was bleeding not a lot but did have puncture wounds on his leg .I called St Francis and they quickly referred me to Avets I then called Avetts registered Ottis and they said they would call me back with a approximate time then I called other places no one could even look at Ottis for hours so I called St Francis back they did not answer because they were out to lunch.I called them a third time because I waited in the parking lot for 2 hours at avets then they told me his injuries were not sever enough to be seen there . I then called St Francis aa third time and told them I could not be see anywhere and could I please bring Ottis there they said No.! I finally with help of friends and family found a place a hour away to see Ottis. He was treated kindly and with compassion something his own veterinary was not capable of.They cleaned Ottis’s wound and gave him antibiotics and pain meds he did not need stitches or a X-ray after they gave him a full evaluation and guess what they emailed me every day for 3 days checking on Ottis something my own veterinary hospital (St Francis)never did.. So my question is why do you call yourself a hospital and why St.Francis because you are neither I do not recommend this place to anyone they are cold and unfeeling and for those out there who love there pet this is not the place for you."

I went to St Francis Animal Hospital since it was privately owned. After it was sold to a huge corporation out of state it went completely down hill. The office staff is ruining this business by not returning calls, trying to fit pets it when desperately needed to see a vet and overall rudeness. They not only are loosing clients, but also had great veterinarians leave. I will never return to that hospital or recommend anyone to go there. Dr Krazel is no longer with St Francis Animal Hospital.

Dr. Snyder almost killed my dog. Luckily, I stopped listening to her advice, and my dog has gotten much better and healthier. They once had my months old puppy scheduled for a teeth cleaning instead of my older dog. Do they not even look at charts? If you want to call them? Good luck. They don't answer the phone. It was great back when it was Schrader's Vet Hospital. This place is terrible.

I’ll have been there three times this week after Friday. With three different animals. If your animal is sick. they’ll try to get them in as fast as they can. I would think all vets are expensive. my sick kitty got out of office pretty cheaply two meds for Ear ache. my 100 pound dog not so much he got three meds (Ear ache, colitis, back right leg maybe torn ACL and blood work) Friday my cat goes in for ear ache. hoping for it to be cheap. Crossed fingers ?

Editing to respond to the response they posted to my review: I am aware of the reasoning. That does not make it acceptable when thry could also be open later to get more patients in.Over a month long wait has to knock it down a star, but beyond that it is amazing. If they get their stuff fixed and are no longer 6+ weeks for appointments (for pets that are not even needed to this place, new pets are probably longer) it would be five stars. The ONLY reason I am not giving five stars is due to how absurdly long it takes to get in, but this is also the same as other vets in the area nowadays. None of them care enough about animals to not have that long of a waiting period.

My daughter called at 9:00 a.m. because her dog was scratching her ear so bad it turned all red inside.( Dr. Snyder had saw her dog months ago and gave a medication that cleared it up.) However, my daughter never heard back from the doctors office today. Called again at 2:58 was placed on hold as always, was switched to 2 different people. Second person let my daughter believe she was Dr. Snyder, then said hold. Dr. Snyder got on, Daughter told her Ive been calling since 9. Dr. Snyder said it was not her fault and told my daughter to take her dog to an emergency vet!!!!! Also said they called my daughter at 1:38. My daughter told Dr. Snyder her call should have been returned within 1 hour of calling when she say it’s an emergency.I tried calling a couple of times today for my daughter and staff (Maddie, Kristen) nasty!!!!!WOW, I will not recommend them to anyone! Plus, called my parents and son and said they need to change Veterinarians now...I go to work and tell my follow workers and they all said they had bad experiences there and switched vets.

I have been very pleased with the care Lily has received here. Recently two of the vets have moved on. That makes me a little nervous. My one vet is still there. Hoping things go well.
