About Camp Fitch YMCA
Camp Fitch YMCA is a massive, life-changing, and magical camp experience located on the lakeshore of Lake Erie. It spans 50 acres with bird paths, hiking trails, a beach, a pool, and over 45 activities. Popular activities include archery, riflery, rock climbing, horseback riding, swimming, gaga ball, and Dungeons & Dragons. The camp offers a premier experience with many options, including evening programs like capture the flag and pool parties. Campers stay in cabins and can easily make friends. The schedule includes rest time for reading or games, voyages for hiking and beach walks, and group activities divided by age fleets. The food is home style and good, with dietary options and a peanut butter and jelly station. The facilities include heated showers and laundry machines for longer stays. The staff is great and works hard to ensure kids have fun. While the cabins could use some help, the overall experience is absolutely amazing. It is an all-in-all good camp for first-timers and returning campers, providing memories every second. Families and groups find it a fun way to spend several days, with kids loving the many things to do, from pumpkin carving to making s'mores by the campfire. It is worth the money and holds a lot of history.

On our annual winter camp with Crooked River Local Longhouse.... I forgot how great it is when it snows here on the lakeshore!

It was a lot of fun. Cabins could use some help. But other than that the staff was great, the activities were cool, and the food was ok. Not a bad way to spend 3 days with a bunch of sixth graders.

Our 6 year old had a great time at sleep away camp.
