Want to give a shout-out to John in the appliance department! Our dishwasher died and we needed one right away because of company coming this week.
He answered all of our questions thoroughly and even found a dishwasher in-stock that we could take home that day! Great customer service! We will definitely look for John if we need appliances in the future!

Stood in line for 10 minutes while customer looked through his phone and the cashier just stood there. The cashier gets two other employees to try to help this guy find something on his phone. I go to the self-checkout scan out $491 worth of items and go to my truck before they are done. Who trains these people? This is the worst store I've ever been to and I've been a contractor for 25 years. It's always like this everyday!

“Bear” is a GREAT employee in the paint area! She is very knowledgeable, professional and goes out of her way to help everyone!! If you can’t find something, she knows exactly where it is!!!

Stefanie Weese in flooring is phenomenal. Being that, tonight, I'm not satisfied. At all. I came in to schedule a measurement for flooring in my house. She told me that because I was paying cash, I had to pay up front. I went up to the checkouts, the only place that they would let me pay was a self-checkout. Says assisted checkout, but no one assisted me. My measurement cost $35. I paid $40. A thing came up on the screen saying that something had to be validated. The head cashier, I think her name is madison, came over and told me that I had to come to customer service to take care of it because there was nothing that she could do over there, and I wasn't supposed to pay for it there. I came to customer service. I've now been standing here for a half an hour because nobody can figure anything out. They tried to just cancel my order and give me $35 back, but I never got my $5 in change. No one can seem to figure this out.
It took the manager another half an hour to get my $5 in change and guarantee that my measure for 7/6 was indeed NOT cancelled. I was told to expect a call on 7/5 with an approximate time that their team would show up for my measure.
At 8:30 PM on 7/5, I called the store. Once again talked to Stephanie. I asked her if she could check on my time for the next day. She told me she would get back to me. She called me back within five minutes, and told me that she was on the phone with the Measure team. somehow, get this! My appointment was canceled because of the confusion with the payment. She rescheduled me for this morning, 7/8. When I called again this morning to find out what time they would be here, I was told that I was not on the schedule7/17.
This really is not the customer service that you all promise!!
I’m sad that while you are have a better product overall than other home improvement places in the area, I am now feeling forced to go to those other places and get inferior quality products simply because their customer service is better. I’m remodeling my whole house. And you all have lost a faithful customer.

Our next door neighbors (who are senior citizens)asked us to help them with a new garage door opener. We purchased the new unit from the North Versailles store. Seeing that we typically buy all of our home improvement items there, never anticipated any problems. After conferring with our neighbors, it was decided that we would use Home Depot’s subcontractors to install the opener. The run around we were given was ridiculous. 5 phone calls across a week were made to the store to try to get the subcontractor to give us a date to come. We finally receive an appt. The local subcontractor shows up and after 15 minutes informs my husband he can’t do the install. Claims the unit is not strong enough to open door, and that we would need a different opener and new garage door. He said he would call us with estimates and left. We never got the estimate. 2 weeks after we purchased the unit we were able to hire our own contractor. They installed everything in an hour. Didn’t need a better garage door opener or new garage door.

Janet was less than friendly at customer service while processing my return.
