I had a very poor experience in this store today. I shopped $30 worth of P&G products to get $10 off with the coupon I clipped in the app. At checkout the associate was rude and told me only the $5 off would be applied because both coupons were clipped in the app. Where is the big disclaimer in the app that says “do not clip this $5 off coupon if you want the $10 off to apply?! I clip the $5 off $25 every week and to be told it can’t be fixed is insane. I spent my time shopping to use your coupons only for you to waste my time. Do better DG. Your coupon policy sucks and you need to hire employees who actually want to help customers.

Bought the wrong kind of Soda for my friend and I tried returning it to the same clerk at the store who gave me a real hard time and told me she couldn’t do a swap without my receipt which I lost by mistake. I tried to show her a digital receipt from Capital One but that was not good enough. I mean like give me a break already as obviously she knew that I had bought the soda off her just 15 minutes before. I will never shop at this DG again. Also they had a lot of empty items where the digestive meds are kept and were out of stock for what I primarily came there for.

I like coming here employees are very nice, polite.. They are getting rid of self-checkout hallelujah! Any places that have self-checkout I personally don't use self-checkout you're taking jobs away from people that actually want to work.

The staff was friendly and helpful but its 97 degrees out and these poor employees have absolutely no Air Conditioner...thats disgusting to have them working in this heat with no AC! And on top of that,their register is down! This should be closed until you know how to treat your employees!!!!!!

The manager is very friendly and so is the cashier. But with non-verbal language they show signs of anger when we want to apply digital coupons and many coupons are even with the eligible product, supposedly the system does not allow them to apply them. However, in another DG store the same coupon is applied. Something I don't understand!!! And if the customer asks them some questions about it in that store specifically they get angry. As if we were bothering them by asking them to clarify about the coupons. They should help the customer and not stress about coupons because DG makes it easier for us for something.

Dollar General is a place where yoy can get discounted items. There are times whern there may be a long line. But rarely. Dollar General ts to me known to be a quick stop shopping experience. In and out. Now. if you are looking for quality products, then this might not be the place to shop. Brand name products may not even be a choice there. And iff so, you may not see a discount at all. So, Its up to your personal preference whether you can accept buying generic or dollar General named products.

I find that the staff is extremely friendly here and they try their best, considering the fact that they are understaffed. Yes the store is not the most organized but they’re constantly getting product in with only a few employees to put it away. If you’ve worked in customer service before you would understand.

Dollar general is okay When I go up there the employes are very nice and Chatty But the issue is almost every time I walk around the store I find at least 3 to 4 open items that are still on the shelf And one time I even walked up to the Refrigerators and is gonna grab a soda but 2 of the sodas were clearly opened and one of them looked like it was half drunken And I did not want to buy one of those sodas just in case somebody had already opened it and the store itself is a little dirty And sometimes employees are just on their phone and I have to talk to them to get them to actually ring up my stuff or like call for somebody to come do it because they're not even at the register one time I had somebody Sit there on their phone for a minute texting before they even helped me Because most of the people they decide to hire are teenagers looking for an easy job But they never take it seriously or listening to music or on their phone One time I had to actually walk up to someone and tap them on the shoulder because they were sitting there listening To music and not answering me?

I really like this Dollar General in Northampton because they have a great selection of items that they overturned quickly and all of the staff here are very friendly and helpful!
