First time having a “BEEF JERKY EXPERIENCE” Janice the clerk definitely gave us the beef jerky experience. She educated us on the styles and textures of the products, signed us up for the jerky club membership for life, which is also usable in any of the other “experiences”! Janice recommended her favorite jerky (which we purchased) along with other popular items, and we were even able to TRY BEFORE WE BUY, which was probably my favorite part beside Janice herself! She was knowledgeable, kind and willing to let us sample any of the flavors that were available in the shop. Thank you for our wonderful visit as well as the jerky I can’t stop eating while I write this review! Stop in and see Janice on Sundays or anytime your needing a great snack while swimming, hiking, or just enjoying the outdoors anywhere in ohiopyle, Pennsylvania. You won’t be disappointed!

Stayed here for a night while riding the GAP bike trail. It’s very close to the visitor’s center and offers easy online check-in, including a lockbox to retrieve your key without interaction. Handy during pandemic and definitely addresses those with concerns. The room (105 Swimmers) appeared recently refinished. It’s a certain older style look and feel - kind of national park cabin feel with wood log bed frames and wood log chairs out front , clean and comfortable. I was worried after reading some reviews, but the hotel is fine and I’d stay here again. When I’m in a city, I have expectations. When I’m in a laid back vacation town along the beautiful river, I liked the Ohiopyle Suites and the charm that definitely fits the environment. That either reads as condescending or preachy - but just trying to convey it’s a good vacation hotel and I’m glad I stayed here. Up until the sun reached its late afternoon angle, I enjoyed sitting on the porch on the log chair and then the quick walk for dinner.

We stayed in a 2 room suite. The room was clean which was great. Our room had one AC unit in the sitting area which made it difficult to cool down the bedrooms. We considered our room pretty ordinary overall. Also, we would suggest you add set hours for the washer and dryer as it was closed when we came back from dinner.

Stayed for two nights while visiting the Laurel Highlands. Contact-less check-in was easy to complete. Excellent location for my trip. Restaurants were within walking distance. I would stay here again.

The room was clean and location is good. The price on the website was $130 which is expensive enough for what you get, but then there was an added $25 cleaning fee. With tax the total was $180 for a very basic motel room. Ohiopyle is a lovely place to visit and we really enjoy riding the GAP trail, but I don’t think I would stay here again due to the price.

Contactless check in was simple. Room was spacious and clean. Comfortable bed. Good shower pressure. We were able to park car directly in front of our room. Safe area. Restaurants walking distance but most closed Monday through Wednesday during our stay. Met friendly and helpful maintain excellent man when leaving. Would definitely stay again.

The place was perfectly located, spacious and clean. Perfect for a place to recover after a day on the water and an evening at the pub!! Thank you, and wow, I have to add more characters because there is a minimum - here they are!!

We arrived and got checked in using their no contact system. The room had some recent updates but looked more or less like what it was - a mid century motel. It was clean but for $150 a night I would hope for more. The location was adjacent to our trip departure so that was good. but beyond that it was a poor value

My friend and I needed somewhere to stay for the night so we wouldn't need to drive back to the city. The inside of the rooms have an old-fashioned, south-western 80's motel kind of feel. The beds were clean and comfortable. Overall, it got the job done and we had a good night of sleep.

Seemed a little overpriced for what it was (I think I paid ~$125 per night) ....but was very conveniently located....no real complaints and I would probably stay there again too, not a bad motel at all and was in a neat neighborhood with restaurants close by and parking too

Yough Plaza Motel is a cute lodge perfectly located in the heart of Ohiopyle! You're in walking distance of shops, bars/restaurants, the visitor's center, waterfalls, hiking trails, bike rentals, white water rafting, etc. The prices are very reasonable. I'll definitely stay here again!
