“Excellent care my dog was very ill and old Dr Keith Dorton and Dr Kyle Dorton and Maria are very caring kind compassionate people, my tucker relieved Excellent care and tucker loved them, the day he was euthanized at 19 years.old, I never seen so much kindness and compassion from the entire staff and Kyle was the Vet who tended to him he was very gently and mourned right along with us, we were given privacy with Tucker before and after, I would highly recommend scranton animal hospital to anyone, prices are reasonable bit what matters to me and is the most important is there kindness and compassion.”

“I asked for their help with an ultrasound for my 6 yr old lhasa also after my current vet wasn't available to perform for awhile. After the ultrasound Dr. Manning explained the results so I could understand same and answered all my questions. They were also affordable and I would highly recommend them”

“Love this vet and her office people. You can tell their animal people. The care and gentleness with which they handle your pets. The questions they ask. She's also slightly cheaper than most vets. She is willing to give you a discount if you bring in 2 pets at the same time. Which is good because many pet owners have more than one. And any savings helps us keep our pets instead of having to turn them into a shelter for lack of funds to care for them. Photos are from when we lost a pet. This is all the things they give you to help you process your grief. They were also superbly kind in the office.”

“We took the remains of our cat Dexxie here this morning after finding her dead. She's been ill but we thought she was doing better with the meds she was on. Most places were closed. We didn't want to throw her in the garbage. Have enough animals buried in the back yard. We had her cremated. The young lady at the desk was very nice to us and took care of us quickly. Thank you for your kindness. It was hard for us.”

“My female cat wasn't doing too good for 3 days we was watching her she was peeing herself and on the verge of dying we went there at 2:00 in the morning to find out she's anemic they give her treatments and everything we was out there the next following morning with checkups in the next weekend. “It's a Saturday my dog a lab had been sick for 2 days. Vomiting diarrhea. My regular vet is closed on Saturday this was the only place available. I called and got a voicemail so I hung up about 5 minutes later Dr Mary called me back told her what was going on she said bring him in. I walked in and she was an older woman very compassionate ECT knew exactly what he needed. She has been around a long time and knows her stuff. If I had taken him to the emergency clinic in plains it would of cost 3 x more than what it cost.
The building is a little dated, could use a good cleaning and disinfecting. But I looked beyond that and the treatment of the patient my dog. He's resting comfortably on the couch.
I would go in and clean for her ? but other than the office she is a wonderful Dr.”

“Can’t give 5 stars because nobody is perfect but they tried. I just left there without my sweet baby Layla but they tried their best I must say Dr. Abram was amazing. The 2 receptionist up front were sweet and very attentive. They both smiled bright and told me how sorry they were and wished me a good night. Just amazing”
