This is a primarily an online store. They have a excellent selection of quilting fabric and accessories. The owner responds to inquiries in a timely fashion. She is knowledgeable and can help with most questions. What I appreciate is the company is accessibility with a live support. It is one reason why I’m supporting more small businesses than I have in the past. I highly recommend LadyFingers Sewing Studio.

I have taken several classes here and the instructor is always available and clear with instructions. All of the classes I have taken here (which is pretty many) there have been handouts or even a notebook so when you continue to work on your own you have resources to fall back on. If you find you need additional help or have questions she provides her personal phone number which I have used many times. I have never had another teacher so willing to help! She has given me confidence to try things on my own,

What better place to have a quilt shop then in the Oley Valley! Gail and Bill answer any questions you may have and if they can't they research and get back to you. Gail will order for you if they don't carry an item you are looking for. I have recently gotten the embroidery bug and I have learned so much in the classes from the instructor and other students. Fabrics are beautiful, machines are wonderful and you can even get chocolate what more could you ask for!

Ladyfingers is my go to place for quilting fabric. SO many different fabrics, I can always find what I want. The prices are reasonable and I have always found the people who work there to be very friendly. It is not so close to where I live--but worth the trip!

What a wonderful friendly place. During the Pandamic Gail was more then happy to help with projects and deliver curbside or mail. Classes are wonderful. I always learn something. Instructor is patient with those of us that are not so computer/machine savy. Bill has helped with the updates and the jammed bobbins.

I highly recommend Ladyfinger’s Sewing Studio. They have a great inventory of Bernina sewing machines, AccuQuilt products, fabric, quilting tools and patterns. Gail, the owner, hand selects all items in the shop and will take the time to recommend the perfect tool and/or fabric for your project. The classes I have taken are excellent. A materials list is provided prior to class. A notebook is provided with terms and instructions on color-coded paper for future reference. Step by step instructions are discussed before working on the project in class, and Carol will stop to answer questions anytime. In addition there are suggestions for needles, stabilizers and helpful techniques. After taking the following classes: In the Hoop Easy Bags, Knit Hat Embroidery, Artlink Software Class, How To Embroidery Everything, Step by Step Bernina Embroidery Software 8, and The Flower Dance Quilt, I now feel I have the confidence and skills necessary to make beautiful quilted and/or embroidered projects to enjoy and give as gifts. Thank you, Gail and Carol!

Terrible class instruction. Total waste of time and money. No followup with students paying a lot of money for classes from the owners. Once they get your money they dont care if you learned anyrhing or not. There are 6 of us who were returning students spending $$$ between the 6 of us. None of us will ever return to this studio. Sooner or later ladyfingers will run out of new students. Since my experience here i have run into several others with the same experience.Sue k

I have no words to express how Ladyfingers Sewing Studio has enriched my life! Working as a full time RN I needed something to help me unwind, so covid hit and I started making lots of masks! Needed a new machine and after seeing that Ladyfingers was only 8 miles away, I thought I would see what Bernina had to offer, Was I in shock. I purchased a B475 quilters addition machine , Bill was amazing I never left the store until I knew how to use and maintain the machine. Signed up for the free class and I was sold! Carol taught the class and was amazing, there was no stupid question of which I had many, she gave the best class, but she said something about embroidery on a machine, WHAT? that sounds interesting! doing research I found a used 790 Bernina embroidery machine and yes Ladyfingers had no hard feelings I took and embroidery basic class, I was over the moon my feelings of uselessness were gone I was spending time in my own sewing world, How about learning to make a project on the machine I was told, made The Feathered Christmas tree, Took the Class with Carol and never in my wildest dreams, it turned out gorgeous. Took a digitalizing class 10 classes and going strong. Carol is always available to answer questions even when I am stuck, Now I am doing a 10 month how to embroider everything, and I love it!! I tell Gail Kessler to Proprietor that I am there more than I go to the Grocery store! Prices are fair, fabric is stunning, and everyone goes out of their way to assist you! And to add to my Bernina trifecta I even now have the mother of all serger/overlock/flat lock machines. And my machines can be serviced with very little downtime.

Ladyfingers is my go to place for quilting fabric. SO much variety, I can always find what I want (and even some things I didn't know I wanted! :-) The prices are reasonable and I have always found the people working there to be very helpful and friendly. It is an hour away from where I live--but very worth the trip!

I have to say that my primary experiences here are the classes of which I took 2. one a ten month embroidery class and a 5 month quilting class. The experience for both was poorThe class dwindled down for each class. There is no feedback requested by shop owners or instructorA class to teach sewing a quilt that did not involve sewing in class, even though students had an option to pay to rent machines. Why? The teacher talked for 3 hours. What a waste of time. And the third month we were told was catch up for the class so we wouldn't work on the quilt (if we needed catch up why not space the classes accordingly?). And what was worse the catch up mug rug making class was were the centerpiece patchwork was discussed Frustrating to have a sewing class and never sewFrustrating to spend a good amount of money on class and pattern and learn from people other than the teacherA terrible experience for me

Sorry to have to write this but i feel i have to for future customers unaware of what they are paying for and what they are not getting. Taking classes at this studio is a complete waste of your time and money. Unfortunately after many months of frustration during the 10 month embrodiery class several of us were dumb enough to think we were going to get a different experience even though its the same instructor. Paying a lot of money to make a flower dance quilt being taught by someone who repeatedly said they were not a quilter became quite evident early on. Had it not been for the help of outside quilters i would not have been able to complete this quilt. No hands on instruction in 5 months. No sewing in 5 months other than month 3 making mug rugs which i did not attend as this had nothing to do with the construction or complexities of this quilt. In both classes we witnessed other classmates drop out. People dont spend $$ on classes and then stop coming just because. I feel as though once ladyfingers gets their money for the class they dont care whether you learn anything or not. There are many other reputable studios in the area offering classes with qualified teachers who followup with their students with an evaluation on the class and the instructor. A check and balance system as a business owner who values returning students. Sooner or later they are going to run out of new students. They have lost a half dozen returning students already that i know about.

Clean, safe, and full. Gail and Bill are doing a great job at servicing the area with new fabrics, patterns, all the Accuquilts and dies you can imagine, largest selection of threads, plus Bernina machines.
