“Sam is so kind and all of his products are top tier. I bought the molasses ham, smoked cheddar and smoked salmon. My father was in love with his Xmas ham and everyone raved. Sam was kind enough to through in a bonus and was so accommodating with a last minute request. Love the small business vibe and will never order from anyone else. Regular customer going forward. Thank you Sam for an amazing Christmas dinner and a wonderful shopping experience!”
“I grew up in Virginia but my parents were from Scranton (Taylor Ave) and Dunmore (Marion St). We would travel to Scranton 5 - 8 times a year and us kids always wanted Gutheinz bologna. A thick slice that was just delicious.I haven't been to Scranton in 10 years but next time I go I'm going to Gutheinz to relive some great memories and get cold cuts you can't get at many places anymore.”

“It was about 20 minutes before closing and they were getting ready to close but around that time they kinda forgot about customer service. I asked where an item was located and I had to end up finding it on my own...they were worried about going home...”
“My neighborhood supermarket so a pretty regular stop. Overall very good, excellent deli and the meat department seems to have improved, but one has to keep an eye on expiration dates, particularly in the dairy case and especially with yogurt. Whether it’s the vendors or the in-house stock crew they can be a bit lax in that area. Good deals tend to appear often if you look for them, and the bakery is good, but fermented foods are a no show, a popular and growing category they should catch up with.”
“Pretty easy place to get into you just have to essentially pass the place drive towards the trees and everything over there That's where the entrance for the semis are after you enter you'll see a sign for drivers Make a left at the split follow it near the employee parking lot area you'll see a gate to the right of the gate is where all the trailers are essentially backed into the door and a check-in entrance that's where u check in at simple enough these guys are friendly easy stuff”
