“I hired Cadden brothers for help with a cross-state move. The way this works is that they have someone come to your house/apartment and assess how much stuff you have, and provide an estimate. You then review the estimate and put a deposit down when you schedule the dates you're interested in.

Patrick Jr was very helpful in going through the quote/estimate with me and answering questions I had before I put a deposit down. However there were some miscommunication regarding timing so I would always double check with the office when you schedule (e.g., when the movers are scheduled to pick up vs. drop off your stuff).

The movers themselves were very professional and timely. They arrived at the agreed time and were able to load my items in the truck in a timely manner. I had two sets of stairs and they had no issues navigating them. No items were broken or went missing during the move. I am overall very satisfied with the move.

The only area for improvement would be improved communications between the company and the customer. I felt that scheduling was very last minute (they let you know 2 days in advance what time they're planning on coming) and that communication could be improved (e.g., I asked for payment confirmation after Zelle-ing, but received no response).

I don't know if this is the cheapest option, but I received similar estimates from other places. Overall had a good experience with Cadden Brothers and they made my move across state less hectic! Would recommend.”
