I have never dealt with anyone that gives you the personal attention that the Cashtown Inn does. Not only are they accommodating but extremely friendly. They go out of their way. To Make sure your stay is as relaxing and comfortable as possible. They leave no stone unturned. I would highly recommend staying at this place when visiting Gettysburg. Wish this old-fashioned customer service still existed everywhere else.

Atmosphere and location was amazing, the history surrounding the property makes it a must-visit spot for those interested in history! Even if you don’t stay, it’s definitely worth checking out just for the amazing food! Jeremey and Danielle were amazing hosts and made us feel right at home!Nearby activities: Only 15 minutes from the center of Gettysburg, making it very convenient to head into town while also being in a peaceful and quiet area.Food & drinks: Breakfast and dinner were both awesome! Definitely worth visiting even just for a quick bite to eat.

We stayed in Room 7 the General Anderson room and had a fabulous stay. The tour of the cellar and Jeremy's history get together was interesting and informative. The breakfast was 5 star. Our room was even larger than I anticipated clean and comfortable. No ghosties for us but we had the most phenomenal trip. The Inn is only a short drive to Gettysburg. Book early the rooms fill up.

I recently stayed at the Cashtown Inn, in the room that my ancestor slept in when it was his headquarters during the battle of Gettysburg. I am the closest living Collateral Descendant of Lieutenant General A.P. Hill. I exhumed General Hill's remains on 12/13/22, I was his Pallbearer at his reinterment on 1/21/23, and I'm his National Guardian. The owners and employees of the Cashtown Inn were very welcoming and couldn't have given me a better experience! The customer service was awesome, the food was amazing, and their love of history and preserving the Inn made me very happy and relieved that it's in great hands. I highly recommend anyone who loves history or paranormal to stay at the historic Cashtown Inn! You will not be disappointed! A HUGE thank you to Jeremy, Danielle, Jennifer, Brian, and Sabrina. I will definitely be back soon.

I greatly enjoyed my weekend stay at the Cashtown Inn. The room we stayed in was #3 and it was very comfortable and the service while there was top notch. The Inn is full of great history and the owner’s made themselves available for anything we needed day or night. If you wanna get away I highly suggest this Inn.Nearby activities: There are plenty of tours of Gettysburg you can take day or night.Noteworthy details: The Inn played a very important role in the Civil War.

We stayed there for a weekend. The place is very comfortable and the history is just outstanding you’re almost living it just staying there. The personnel are all very wonderful and friendly and my gosh the food is just out of this world. We stayed in the Robert E. Lee suite the Bed was comfortable slept like a babyNearby activities: Of course, being located right out of Gettysburg There is a never ending venue of activities whether it’s history or not. They just have it all right there in that area.

My experience at the Cashtown Inn was very pleasant. I stayed for one night in room 4, the room was clean and looked beautiful. The bed was very cozy—I normally don't fall asleep easily in hotel rooms, but I had no problem this time. Breakfast was offered, but I declined, so I can't review it.The owners, Jeremy and Danielle, were very attentive and accommodating. They offered a free tour of the building and were nice enough to allow my friends on the tour, even though they were not guests. Jeremy has a deep knowledge of the building and it's relationship to the Battle of Gettysburg. After staying here, its obvious that they both have a devotion to their guests, the hotel, and to historic preservation.I wanted to visit the Cashtown Inn for almost 20 years, and I walked away pleased with my experience. Next time I'm near Gettysburg, I will be returning!

My family stayed at the Inn in early December. We were so excited to be staying there because we had know about the place for such a long time. We had a fabulous time, it was so charming ! The owners Danielle and Jeremy were a delight, so warm and welcoming. They were decorating for the holidays when we arrived and it was beautiful. We enjoyed the history talk and tour of the basement. We spent the night in rooms 6 and 7. My husband and I were in room 7, around 1:55 my husband slams into me and says out loud that something just pushed me! I looked at my watch to see the time , I then proceeded to keep waking up exactly one hour from the time before. I went to the bathroom one of these times and when I looked in the mirror I had huge scratches on my left trunk. I thought I must if scratched myself but then realized I have really short nails. When I went in to take a shower the marks were gone. Our breakfast was amazing! We will definitely be staying there again. Wonderful getaway!
