And the owner dug up one of her petunias out of her personal flower pot to sell to me, which was very sweet of her. This is a picture of that petunia in my garden in mid-September. Not enough sun, but still nice.”
“For the produce section the prices are reasonable and I have never been disappointed with the produce itself. Cash or check only.
They also have local honey, baked goods and preserves as well as lots of plants.
For the BBQ stand, it is incredible. I am not a huge fan of meat in general, but their BBQ is so good it's upsetting. I don't even use sauce with it. Also cash only and only open on Saturdays at this time.
One thing of note is to just be a little vigilant when entering and exiting the parking lot. I've pretty consistently experienced people who are in a big hurry to "beat you to the BBQ", or just aren't paying attention, as well as cars trying to turn in from off the highway and getting backed up because of people trying to park or back out.”
