Called Walgreens Palmer to check if they have my prescribed medication in stock since last time there was a shortage. They REFUSED to tell me if they are able to fill my prescription because my medication is a controlled one ?? This makes no sense. Again: they know I'm prescribed this medication and they refused to provide availability information to me.
Supposedly I have to ask my doctor to first sent in the script so they could tell me the medication is out of stock. They also suggested my doctor should call local pharmacies to check on their inventory- I never heard such idiocy before.
There is shortages, and every other pharmacy was able to tell me if the medication was in stock before sending them a script, but Palmer Walgreens.
Walgreens Customer Service is plain disgusting, they hung up on me twice after a long wait on hold. I even had my blood pressure elevated after talking to them. I used this branch on 25th St for many years since it was built, it used to be a good place, not any more, I had problems with them times before as well.
Pharmacy is the next thing after the doctor, patients go there to receive their prescribed treatment and these clowns act like clerks in beer shop. I'm done with them. We have a good choice of pharmacies around here, I will be telling everyone to not complicate their lives with Walgreens.

always have to wait at least 25 minutes or longer in the drive thru. they seem disorganized and never have anything ready even though you get a confirmation that it's ready

This Walgreens Pharmacy should NOT get any stars. I have a sick 3 year old and twice now in two days they have not been able to complete his script. They advised that I was not notified because his profile is not complete with a phone number or a way to notify. He is 3 1/2 you would think they would notify the Parent or guardian on his file. They should do their due diligence and the doctor back to get in touch with the parent if they don’t have the capacity to do so. We will be moving our business and telling everybody about how terrible our experiences have been.

Walgreens was very good, on time, answered the phones, now...... 2 weeks ago I called and asked for aomeone to call CVS to get a Rx transferred. Never heard again. I believe that the closing of RiteAid and the large influx of people has added to this issue.

They do not automatically renew your prescriptions and don’t answer the pharmacy phone line. I wanted 20 mins on hold and the hold hung up on me.

Called in today around 2:15pm regarding my prescriptions. I waited on the line for 20 minutes just to get the phone hung up on me. I was also asked to provide my insurance information, which i did and when i went there to pick my prescriptions up my insurance information wasn’t in the system. Come on now… get it together

Employees are overworked---the line stinks. Too much profit not enough labor to process orders. Prepare to camp out and wait, assume 1 hour to get in and out. Pharmacy customers with billing issues clogging it up. Like the DMV---slow. They need more chairs and a number system like a deli, it's way too long to have to stand in line--too darn long. Imagine elderly people with bad legs waiting--no good. Take a seat and you lose your place in line! Terrible!

Not good. My prescriptions were transferred from the closed Rite Aid. Twice now I’ve phoned in my prescriptions for refill, gave them extra time (days) to accomplish the task, and each time now I have showed up without them being ready. I will give them one more chance, but do not have high hopes.

WARNING.......DO NOT go here for prescriptions!!! You will wait a ridiculous amount of time in line....I've been patient since I switched from Rite Aid across the street. Kept telling myself, it will get better... TODAY I HAD IT!!! Waited 20 minutes in line at 2pm because my email said they were ready.....Nope, "Give us an hour". Come back at 4;30 because my email said my prescriptions were ready. Waited in line another 20 minutes. 1 out of 3 prescriptions were there. " Give us an hour". Came back at 725pm. Waited behind 3 people for 35 minutes. PATHETIC!!!!!

Chris, who was working in the photo department, was extremely helpful and nice! I was unsure of how to get the correct Christmas cards that I wanted printed and he helped me through the whole process! Even though my order was a pain in the butt he was professional and kind throughout the whole transaction!

If I could give this pharmacy a 0 I would they were rude and would not help me with a request for a medication transfer instead they said they would not be able to order it and turned me away…. Staff is rude and lazy
