My first time having a prescription filled here. There was an accident that prevented me from getting to cvs when I wanted to. I got there at 6:58 and they were already closed. The pharmacist yelled through the security gate that it was now 7 and they were closed. The attitude was unreal and she has no business working with the public. Terrible first impression and I would not allow that attitude in my place of employment. They really wanted to get of work at a good time. I see by reading the reviews before mine that this is who they are. Management needs to address these poor attitudes and remove the cancer that works there. Edit: showed up at 6:55 ie 5 minutes to close and they shut the security gate while I was in line at the drive through. This staff is a joke. If your hours say 7:00 pm you should help customers until that point. I didn’t get out of work until 6:45 and I need blood pressure medicine to not have a stroke. The whole staff needs fired and spit on. Worthless group of people that’s going to have people die because they didn’t get the medication they need to survive. Drive to Hershey before these good for nothing scumbags who do not care about the community they serve.

I am not even sure this is where I should be typing. Reviews are not good and I understand why. After transferring from another store which is highly efficient, I have had to do alot of back and forth to get my prescriptions filled. I don't mind that but I do mind being lied to about CVS policies by unknowledgeable pharmacy staff who just don't seem interested in helping me or doing their jobs in general. I was told after transferring from the Lancaster PA store to Palmyra, PA store that old prescriptions that still had refills would have to be filled in Lancaster...when they were used up,I could get new prescriptions sent to Palmyra and then they would start filling them in Palmyra,PA.That is not CVS policy at all.... . IF IT IS IN THEIR SYSTEM, ANY STORE CAN FILL IT REGARDLESS OF THE AMOUNT OF REFILL (or lack of refills) This has been going on since last August (5 months) and it is finally working out somewhat. I was told by the pharmacy in Lancaster that any store can fill anything if there are refills on it. It has caused me unnecessary grief and stress because the Palmyra, PA staff just did not want to help me I guess. It is somewhat resolved at this time and we will keep trying to work with the staff in Palmyra, PA. If it is in thè system and has refills, any store can fill it. They are trying to make it harder than itneeds to be to avoid working too hard. This group has fun at the expense of their clients in my opinion. They are nice though...polite always.

Pharmacists are always helpful but staff at pharmacy are often snippy with a bad attitude when I ask questions or try to resolve a problem.

Pharmacy staff could use an attitude adjustment. They are rude, unfriendly, in a hurry and over don’t care. This was my experience.

Awful pharmacy service. Had a prescription sent over later in the evening, and the pharmacy was closed by the time I was done with my appointment, so I went the next day to pick it up. When I got there, I was told that there were no prescriptions for me, so I had to call the doctor back and on their end, it was showing that the prescription had been confirmed by the pharmacist the previous day. So, the doctor had to get in touch with the pharmacist and sort things out, and then I was told that it would just be a few minutes and my prescription should be ready. Great! So I decide to have lunch in the meantime, and head down to the pharmacy about 30-40 minutes after the phone call with the doctor telling me things had been sorted out. When I get there, the prescription is still not ready, mind you, it was for eye drops. I get told it would take a few hours to fill the order, and I explain how I was told by my doctor that they were told it would only take a few minutes, so the pharmacy worker tells me that they will expedite my order and it should be ready in 10-15 minutes. I go out to my car, and wait about 25 minutes just to be on the safe side, and when I go back in, my prescription is still not ready. I was starting to get annoyed at this point, so I go to walk away just to be called back to the counter and they told me, "Wait, we won't make you wait any longer." and they fill my order. After all of that, the pharmacist gave me attitude and made a snarky comment. Very unprofessional and severe lack of communication. I will be trying a different pharmacy next time I or anyone else in my family needs a prescription.

This store conducts themselves like serving customers is some sort of imposition that they can't wait to be free of.

I would highly recommend CVS Pharmacy because they took the time to fill an emergency prescription for me when 3 other pharmacies would not. The attendant was very helpful and pleasant. They went above and beyond

Got a call saying my prescriptions were ready for pickup, TWICE. Went to pick them up and got told rather rudely that there was nothing for me to pickup. When I mentioned the calls I got met with “yeah no, we have nothing for you.” I’m tired of this place having dumb excuses as to why they don’t have my prescriptions. “It expired” great, just went to the doctor day prior and got it refilled, how is that expired? And it goes on and on and on. I’ve been off my prescriptions for months now because they keep playing this game.

I love, the CVS on Main Street in Palmyra! Everyone at that store is absolutely wonderful! But the pharmacy personnel has got to be the best! Paul is absolutely wonderful. He goes above and beyond the meaning of customer service. I recently had a problem. With one of my medication‘s my insurance company decided they wanted to change the dosage on it because they didn’t want to pay for the dosage. My doctor gave me so they took one of the pills off for the day and made five pills a day only four. But I had been taking five pills a day for years and it kept me from getting sick so Paul told me exactly what to do to get that fixed and it worked. Then they still didn’t want to approve it and he took care of that also and I didn’t even get a headache, I watch him on the phone constantly getting prescriptions ready for people getting yelled at by people and they don’t realize just what he does for everyone. He is actually wonderful and I for one appreciate him. I appreciate everyone that works in the pharmacy. They all go above and beyond their job descriptions and it is appreciated. That is why I don’t care where I am. I will always go to CVS in Palmyra.
