Gym is ok. Needs stuff updated. No water fountain. No AC. Rusty bars. Should be cheaper than it is.

Staff is friendly and it's overall a decent gym. However, the only problem is the AC has been only partially working for over a month, so it's hot in there. It's hardly a difference from the outside temps. There are fans, but they hardly help, unless you're directly in front of them, and depending on what you are doing, a fan might not reach that far. It's difficult to get a good workout in due to the heat, and for some, using another location is not an option. I guess instead of getting someone in ASAP to fix the AC, it's better to have members uncomfortable and suffer in the heat and risk their health working out in those conditions day in and day out, week after week. The AC has been "fixed", except now there's another issue with the compressor....so it's not really fixed and feels just as stuffy and hot as it did before. It's unfortunate that members have to suffer like this, if they can even tolerate the conditions and heat. It's either pass out or don't use your membership that you're paying for.

The heat is horrible in the summer. The AC has been down for about a month, I've nearly felt like I was going to pass out. They seem to rather wait until something happens before fixing the AC. People are inconsiderate and talking loud enough for the entire gym to hear and cussing. I think they should give a partial reimbursement to members until the AC is fixed for the suffering. You almost don't want to go because it's disgustingly hot so you don't get your membership worth of the gym.

What really stands out about this gym is the community they have here. The people are very friendly. New York fitness has a good selection of equipment and it is very clean from the locker room to the gym itself. I do recommend bringing a good amount of water because the current water spout is not upgraded and not that much water comes out. Other than that, I highly recommend this gym.

I love everyone who works here. They are so helpful and sweet always and great to talk to as well. Lonnie the owner is a doll and so extremely smart when it comes to knowing his business here. He has helped me many a times when I had questions about what I should and shouldn't be doing. He helps me with form and is usually around most times. Great music to work out to and place is very clean safe. Love it here, so glad I joined.

The pricing online for your basic package doesn’t show the $40 annual fee on top of the membership fee. So it’s $200 up front which I assume goes toward basic maintenance of equipment and gym upkeep. Then it’s $40 every year along with the monthly fees. Can you say crooked?

Great gym. Very well maintained and exceptionally clean during Covid times. Employees are salt of the earth, nicest people to engage with. Highly recommend.

I love this gym! Jared is the absolute best trainer I have ever worked with and he's cognizant of my injuries and keeps me progressing. The facility is well-equipped and clean. The people (staff and members) are friendly and welcoming. I also love having in-house massage by Kaitlin - she's amazing!

Overall not a bad gym, a little dirty, a little outdated, a little basic but nice employees. Since I am no longer in that area I do not go anymore. You sign a year contract so you cannot cancel early. My year is coming up so I called to cancel. They told me it is $90 to cancel before the exact day of the 1 year contract, or come in on the exact day and it is a $39 fee to cancel. So know before siging up if you ever want to cancel there is a fee, and it will be $90 if you cannot come in that exaxt day (that was made very clear when I called, what if I moved further away??)

Welcoming environment and wide space. Good maintenance but old equipments. However, I still support their sustainability. You get free one week trial, so try and see if u like there.

It's okay and staffis friendly, but they need more space and equipment. It's also grossly warm inside when it's already 90+ degrees outside. I guess they'd prefer to deal with members passing due of exhaustion than actually use the AC.
