Had our Golden Retriever at the clinic for spay. The staff was so friendly. The vet called and gave thorough instructions and gave the time for me to ask questions. Very positive experience.

Everyone was very nice. The Vet Dr. Han was very kind and I felt good w/ my Cat in his care. He rehydrated her, took xrays, and explained them to me. They also do ultrasounds. Waiting area was quiet. They also gave her an appetite stimulant and so far no side effects and it is working. Grateful for their service.

As someone who has to recommend a place to care for a pet right now, this is the one place I will swear by all that is good and holy on this earth that I would NEVER go here! This place did no tests, simply looked at me and my friends dog and said "oh she has a uterine infection" when she didn't. If they had actually don't tests, they would've seen the cancer that metastisized throughout her body. Charged us $150 just to walk through the damn door, and 105 of a weeks worth of pills that she didn't need! Worst vet I have ever been to iny entire life. Sorry, but I am currently going through losing a pet to old age, and while discussing places to go, I remembered this place, and just want everyone to be very careful going here

Doctor Hans is the best vet! He listens to my concerns and treats my dogs like his own. He's the best!

I highly recommend that you AVOID this place. My 1st visit for my cat, who had ear problems (brown gunk, head shaking, obviously distressing), I was shocked when they picked her up, said "we'll be back" & b4 I could react off they went. I've had many pets to various Vets & NEVER have they not let owner be present. Despite a huge bill the $52 ear drops...caused my cat to cry in pain so badly it scared me. So, stop drops & return visit. STAFF flat out has abusive anger issues...the female tech was livid when I said I will be present this time & to whisk an already scared pet away from the 1 person the know & trust, I personally find it cruel...her angry abusive reaction was SO bad...door slams & throwing *something* very hard...that is no way to treat client & that uncontrollable anger is not ok. So I held my cat, Dr. used 1 q-tip, looked at it for a second & tossed it, then a 2nd one. He padded the bill charged $40 for "ear discharge analysis"...wow that is just GREED, especially since I was there because he failed to correctly help her the 1st visit. They add a $5 "medical waste" fee...which is basically him throwing the q-tip away. He showed no kindness to my cat...all Vets I've been to at least give a pet & acknowledge the animal. Front office staff...one snotty girl with horrible customer service skills, a couple of nicer ones. The entire experiences of 2 visits left me feeling abused, robbed being by greed & MY POOR CAT STILL NOT BETTER. Dr. went from telling me outer ear infection to "I think it's just wax"...flat out lies. Avoid.

I've had an awesome experience up til Tuesday 8/1.. my baby Mia Walker has been coming to this office for about 11.5 years .. tuesday moring we took her to Shores emergency at 230am.. prognosis was not good..Dr said to recheck with primary vet (PALMYRA) within 1-2 days or sooner...needless to say.. I called them later that day afternoon and stated that my baby needed to go to the rainbow Bridge as she had gotten worse... the manager on duty says we had to wait until next availability which was 3 weeks.. so this heartless POS wanted my baby to suffer instead of doing what was asked from the ER..my baby didn't have 3wks..and I wasn't going to see her suffer...I wanted to take her to the place that's been taking care of her for 11.5yrs and they turned their back on her... straight ignorance.. I ended up taking her back to SHORES where they really cared.. never again will I ever bring any of my animals here again.. I will say the rest of the staff (at PALMYRA) are truly caring and are great... and I thank you all for taking care of my baby throughout the years..

Run from this place if you value your pet’s safety. This vet practice is money hungry and does not provide services but will charge you for them. They do not examen your pet in your presence which is concerning. My dog was given vaccinations I clearly said ‘no” too but they went and gave them anyway and she nearly died because she was overdosed on too many vaccines for her small size. When I called them about the symptoms, they didn’t care. They were angry when i refused a 300 dollar blood screen test when my dog wasn’t even sick and was made to sign that I refused and continued to push more unnecessary services at me and became angry when I continued to refuse. The practice is NEVER busy. The place is filthy but you are greeted by an overwhelming toxic smell of an air freshener, which makes me wonder what they are hiding, and the supposed “techs” are not educated. My dog was always upset and nervous when she came here, I guess she was trying to tell me something. Front staff is rude and clearly unorganized and nonprofessional, not to mention clueless.

This place does not offer emergency pet care service. When we wanted our cat seen for a suspected URI, we were redirected to a 24 hr pet care place. When Dr. Clemens ran this place, he set aside time to care for emergent matters. It's false advertising and the public needs to know. Our beloved cat 6 yrs old died this morning in his sleep. I have questioned the care and attitude here. After seeing other 1 star reviews for similar experiences, we are pulling our pets out of this place.

"I was recently at Palmyra Animal Clinic with my dog. On two occasions, the staff tried to sell me dewormer for $76. However, they did not take a fecal sample from my dog to determine if he actually needed deworming. When I asked why they didn't recommend that I try Walmart Pet XR, a comparable product that is available for a lower price, the staff member rolled her eyes at me and didn't answer my question.I am disappointed with the way that the staff handled this situation. I felt that they were trying to pressure me into buying a product that my dog may not have needed. I would appreciate it if you could look into this matter and ensure that your staff is providing more informative and helpful recommendations to your to your clients.

I've been bringing my cats here since I got them 12 yrs ago and I've never had a problem. Someone mentioned always being put on hold and witnessing front desk clerks putting people on hold and then having a conversation between themselves. I can honestly say that yes I have been put on hold quite a bit when calling but have also had them not put me on hold. This past Fri they were having phone trouble and a service tech was there trying to sort it out. There is currently a shortage of vet techs as well as veterinarians so a little bit of grace should be extended. The pandemic saw A LOT of people getting pets so the strain on them is considerably more than I think any vet office has experienced pre-pandemic.When I was in on Fri 7/7/23 a State Trooper brought his K9 partner in for a medical issue. If the PSP can trust their furry officers to Palmyra Animal Clinic, I think you can trust your fur baby to them as well.

I’ve been a client for years with multiple pets. I called because my 18 year old cat was obviously dying. The person answering the phone said there are no doctors available at the time they left. I asked since you’re still open can they come in. The answer no. Then I asked if my cat is still alive in the morning can I bring him in first thing in the morning. Answer no you would have to call to see if we have any openings I was so disappointed with my appointment because of the conditions and attitudes I should’ve expected that treatment. It’s sad that this office has declined to the extent it has
