Great place to take your pet. Nice staff, good Vet and they'll give you all the information you want to know.

So disappointed in this practice. Despite having spent thousands of dollars at this clinic, the practice turned my cat away this morning despite having an aural hematoma where time is of the essence to prevent tissue damage to the ear. I was told I would have to wait until Monday. Will be looking for another veterinary practice. I do not recommend.

***DO NOT TAKE YOUR PETS HERE!!***My 6 month old golden retriever puppy has been having diarrhea for the past couple of days. We brought him here and was treated rudely by the vet. Dr Salli first told us that he was “extremely overweight”, and then proceeded to yell at my dog to “stop barking when he’s talking” and told us that “we needed to train him to not bark at people when they’re talking”. Then he randomly started clipping his nails and gave him treats, but yet made the comments that he is overweight. Then gave him a shot, not ADDRESSING WHY HE WAS GIVING HIM THE SHOT AND OR EXPLAINING WHY MY DOG WAS SICK!! He said he was MORE CONCERNED about his WEIGHT than the diarrhea!!! Then he gave him the shot and my puppy YELP in pain and still not addressing why my dog was sick. The vet bill was charged an obsorbunt amount of money and was be rated and belittled that I was not even doing to my dog; ex.) Dentist sticks, raw hyde chews, etc. he was very accusatory when talking to us. We will NEVER bring our puppy back here and i hope NOBODY else brings their animals here too!!

It takes a special person to care for our fur babies, and Dr. Salli as well as every member of his team has what it takes. The level of compassion he and his team showed my 17 year old kitty Oscar during his cancer battle was nothing short of perfect. When it came time to euthanize him, Dr. Salli and his team couldn’t have been more professional and caring not only toward Oscar, but also to me. They made a very difficult situation a little more bearable, and you can’t put a price on that. I would drive 500 miles to have Dr. Salli care for my animals. A heartfelt “Thank you” to Dr. Salli and his team for doing what you do with the upmost love and care!

This was my first experience with them. The staff were friendly. It was very clean and quiet during the time I was there. The Dr. seems soft spoken, caring and kind to our pet and explained things to me very well.

Take all 4 of my pets to Dr. Salli and never had an issue. He is so loving with all of them and always makes sure to take the time to give them pets and talk to them before doing anything.

Listen to the negative reviews.... we took our ferret for flea and tick treatment because this was the only short notice place as some other reviewers mentioned, I'm driving to this place thinking huh, I wonder why they aren't booked out... well 10 minutes into the appointment it became extremely clear. Our ferret, Hazel, just had 20 ticks pulled off the back of her neck, so her neck was bright red and in pain given the open wounds. I can forgive him not noticing, which actually, I shouldn't given I'm here for an EXAM. That's what it said on the receipt anyway. What I cannot forgive is the fact that when he scruffs her neck and my ferret(who's a stubborn, sassy, bad A girl) starts screaming in pain, he proceeds to hold her, not supporting her lower half, just dangling her in the air as she SCREAMS. I'm a grown man, I don't mean to be dramatic but it was like watching someone hurt your kid, realize they are hurting your kid, and then continue to hurt your kid. I'm yelling let her go, put her down, about to fight this grown man with a degree because my ferret is screaming. Needless to say it was a horrible time. He finally let's her go as I'm about to literally remove my animal from this guy's presence. He claims she did that for attention. I've never heard her make that noise. Ever, and I'd bet I never will again. It wasnt that he scuffed her, its that he continued to cause pain until the fact that I almost felt like I had to act. He plucked one single flea from her and then told us to pluck the rest at home. He did give a rabies and antibiotic for the pain that he worsened. 225 dollars to watch my animal get hurt, get caused a great amount of discomfort and my animal to get 10 percent of the help she needed. My ferret literally acts different. Rabies shot doing its thing or PTSD? Guess the world will never know.

My cat was due her vaccines, she also had dark nasty goop in her ears, constantly shaking her head. I mentioned that her former Veterinarian, who passed away, noted some gum inflammation. Dr. pulled large chunk of goo out of her ear. "I don't think it's mites"...I trusted him so didn't question him. So besides her 3 year rabies & Felline virus shots, he gave her steroids, penicillin & famotadine. Put gel in her ear. My cat could not function & was like a zombie for WEEKS. No interaction, just slept. I thought I was losing her, obviously too many meds along with vaccines! Plus the head shaking got worse, she would lay her ears flat & crouch as if dizzy. $195. for this "Dr" to NOT even diagnose what WAS in her ears AND there should be a 2 week wait between giving meds and then vaccinating. I've now been waiting for different Veterinarian to correctly diagnose and fix ear issue. Poor cat has suffered would never recommend this place to anyone. My cat suffered for weeks because of bad Doctoring. The one positive was the 2 techs assisting were very gentle & sweet with her.

I wish I could give zero stars. Girls at front desk are rude and unprofessional. They do NOT take allergies seriously and are rude to customers.

Unfortunately I can no longer recommend VAH to anyone. Terribly disappointed with the care received by the stray cat we adopted back in the spring. We were never asked about having him tested for FIV or FeLV, and we only found out that he was FIV+ after taking him elsewhere for his neutering where they suggested testing. The final straw was that when I took him in for a vaccination, I mentioned his extremely dirty ears. Dr Salli kind of blew it off, said it can be normal, and just prescribed something to put in his ears to alleviate irritation. A few months later we discovered he had ear mites and have treated it ourselves w/ OTC drops. We were pretty furious, suffice to say, that Dr Salli didn't even bother to check for something that is so common. We won't be back.
