I wish I could give this Bank Zero stars, first of all that OLD lady that's works their needs to Retire or be Fired cause she never know what's she's doing and always has to go and ask someone if she can complete the transaction first and she also comes off very RACIST and I also noticed atleast 2 of their Black Employees are No longer working their since I started coming to that Branch hmm I wonder why!

Closed down online bill pay for two weeks while new system is "upgrading" the existing one, can't guarantee that bills will be paid after that without a complete re-do of information. They just can't leave well enough alone. Forcing customers to use online systems by gutting branches of actual people. Looking for a new bank and better customer service after 30+ years.

Citadel BankOn December 22, 2021 I contacted Citadel and spoke with banking employe xx. I was considering starting an account with Citadel since they advertised a High Yield Saving Account that was a better rate than my current bank offered me. Citadel’s plan required a balance of $10,000. After talking with XX and exchanging some emails I felt comfortable in starting an account with Citadel. XX said that Citadel’s High Yield saving account did not charge service fees. He assured me that there would be no fees associated with the High Interest Savings Account since my intention was to deposit $10,000, thus meeting their minimum balance requirement. He even told me that I had a small grace period to reach a balance of $10,000 once I opened the new account. On 12/22/21 (wed) I made a mobile deposit of $5,000 from my XX account into my new Citadel High Interest Savings account. On 12/23/21 I made another $5,000 mobile deposit. My balance with Citadel was now $10,000. Since the mobile deposits were personal checks from my XXX account I figured they would take a couple days to clear & post. Citadel was closed on 12/24/21 for the holiday. I also figured I’d wait until after the holidays and talk to XX to see if everything went ok. On Jan 2, 2022 (a Sunday) I checked my new Citadel account via the App and I discovered that they already charged me $2.00 for some BS Paper Stmt fee on Jan 1st 2022 (a holiday and they were closed!!). I hadn’t received any papers, documents or statements from them. Less than a week earlier I created the account AND had been using their on-line Citadel mobile App. I was never asked, requested or was informed about paper statements, nor would I want them. There’s no mention on their site of a $2 Stmt fee on their High Yield Savings information page. Here’s the incredibly crazy part. Citadel withdrew the $2.00 BS fee from my account on Jan 1st 2022 as indicated on my App. On December 31, 2021 the App showed that they withdrew $10.00 from my account because their $2.00 BS paper document fee caused my $10,000 deposit to be under their “no service fee” balance requirement of $10,000. They took the $10.00 withdraw penalty the day before they even charged me the $2.00 BS paper document fee. So now they steal from me another $10.00 as a penalty for falling under their $10,000 minimum that I just set up a few day’s prior. Total banking scam.Their phone system is terrible with many prompts. I sent an email (2 in fact) to XX about my issue. I also sent (2) emails to their -Contact Us link on 1/3/22. So far no response in 24 hours (7 of those hours were during their open for business times). I’m sure their reply to this complaint will be that I could easily contact them and they will probably post some link in how or where to contact them when they respond to this complaint. I challenge anyone to try to easily contact a Citadel member and see how long it takes. And don’t blame Covid. It’s getting to be a lame excuse. Or they might suggest I could waste more of my time by driving into a branch. We can do that math $3.50 a gallon for gas and wasted time to fight for the $12 they essentially stole from me. I’ve already spent way more than $12 of my time on this. Will they fine themselves and perhaps give me a credit for their cheesy money grab BS? I doubt it. Fines and Fees only go one way with this bank -From you to Them.

To prelude my review, I am not a member of this credit union, however used this ATM to deposit money into my savings so I don’t have to drive 45 minutes to my bank.Be careful depositing your money at this locations drive through ATM. I have had two experiences where the atm just completely shuts down & the bank has to audit their machines. I would just go to a different bank if I were you!! It’s not worth the miniature heart attack and time waiting to get your cash back and go to a different bank.

Trash, I would give zero stars if I could. Nobody can answer a phone, let alone help. Worst bank ever, hope they close.
