Went for real estate notary work. No longer doing that work. Nice looking place to stay but I'm a local.

Someone else booked this for me, and from the Rayba Acres website, I wasn't expecting too much. But this was one of the rare instances when the pictures undersold the property. I stayed in room 1, which was a little rustic but perfectly acceptable. The bathroom felt much newer than the rest of the room and was particularly nice. The bed must have had some sort of memory foam topper and was very comfortable. The grounds were very well maintained and had seasonal decorations.

Stayed here for a night and we loved it. Room is clean and spacious. If you are a cat lover this is the place for you. There are cats and kittens roaming the property. We almost took a few home. Will deff be back.

We really couldn't have picked a better place to stay. Location was amazing close to all Amish activities, antique shops and Stroudsburg. We woke up to see cows and donkeys grazing. Opened our door to be welcomed by a few of the farm cats who were friendly enough to let us pet their kittens who were nestled under the bush next to the door to our room - such an amazing experience. Rayba was nice enough to wait for us when we arrived after 9pm and gave us so much helpful information about the area. The room was spacious (Dhalia Quilt), immaculate and comfortable. We made coffee each morning and nibbled on the wonderful Amish pastries we picked up while enjoying the countryside view. Will definitley stay here again when we return to the area.

The room we were given was in a house down the road with tiny windows and barely a view. The room was old and had a bad smell. My son woke up in middle of the night wheezing from the dust. When we wanted the wifi we were told it doesn’t reach to our room :( We are soo disappointed.

Rayba Acres Farm is definitely a perfect getaway location. I must say this was one of the most restful overnight stays we have had. My husband, myself and two granddaughters 3 & 5 stayed in room 2. The bed was super comfy, as was the pull out the girls slept on, the room and entire area was immaculate, it was very quiet/peaceful and the host were very friendly. The girls loved the cats and kittens and enjoyed watching the animals across the drive. If you enjoy clean, quiet, large rooms, safe areas with easy access and friendly above and beyond hospitality, we strongly recommend Rayba Acres.

We stayed in room #5 over the garage at the rear of the property. The stairs were rickety which should have been our first clue. When we opened the door, we were accosted by the horrible smell of manure (there was no outside odor). We later realized that the smell was coming from the AC unit. We had to turn the AC off and open all the windows to let it air out every so often.
When using the shower, the "door" took up so much of the inside shower space it was difficult to even turn around. Then there were the unfixed issues with the ceiling above the shower and the "fancy" tp holder.
Trying to get the tv to work was another issue plus the lack of internet.
Apparently, you can only get internet at the main house.
My in-laws had previously stayed at the main house and told us how lovely it was which is why we decided to stay here. They were very surprised and shocked to see what our room looked and smelled like.
I would never recommend staying anywhere but at the main house.
Also, the owner who lives at the main house should check each and every room from time to time.
We will not return here.

I really enjoyed my stay here. The room was very clean and spacious for a family of 4 like ours. We had room #3 and it was perfect with the common room next door with a microwave and full size fridge. The grounds are beautiful and there are many animals to look at including the many cats, donkeys and cows. Ms. Rayba was very kind to us and always available for whatever we needed. The only thing I regret is not staying longer! I would definitely come back. This has everything you need for a stay and there are a lot of things to do nearby for a family with small kids.

Very quite location but close to all the Amish attractions, restaurants, etc. Very comfortable bed. Super nice hostess. We will return whenever we go to that area again. We stayed in the log cabin first floor room at the house.

Peaceful, comfortable and close to many Amish things! We spent a wonderful 2 days in the lovely Amish countryside, surrounded by beautiful farms and silos, and chose to stay at Rayba Acres Farm. Rayba has 6 rooms which have separate entrances from her house, and they are spacious and comfortable. We stayed in a first floor King bedroom with fabulous air conditioning, and a memory foam bed, and sooo quiet! Not more than 10-15 min from many good places, markets, Sight and Sound, Railway, Buffets. Good strong WiFi. Fridge/microwave in rooms, and a separate common area with sofa, lounge chairs, big fridge. It is not a bed and breakfast. Bring your own shampoo. Delightful pond with lilypads, barn kitties and gazebo outside rooms, pasture with cows and donkeys. Was peaceful and perfect for us. Would stay there again. Heads up: most restaurants close at 7pm in those parts, so don't wait! Convenience charge for credit cards on checkin.
