For plumbing issues see"Coatesville Scotty" in there plumbing isle I had a major issue in my home on a rainy Saturday I snapped photos and made drawings to show Scotty I'm just an old country boy and had no idea how indoor plumbing worked. Coatesville Scotty was so helpful I got the job completed in no time.

I was thinking two weeks ago that a local Nursing Home I use to work at needed some cheering up! They were hit pretty badly from the Covid virus and with the Elderly still not being allowed to see their families I figured they needed to know the Community was thinking of them. I went to Home Depot in Parkesburg Pennsylvania and spoke to a manager named Brendan McGarry. I explained that I thought it would be nice if we could work it out to give the 77 residents at Hickory House some beautiful flowers to brighten up their rooms. I explained the situation that all residents of long term care are still experiencing from this pandemic and I wanted to let them know they are still a valued part of our Community. Brendan agreed that he felt this was important and guess what he did??He donated an entire cart full of flowers so that I could make this happen. I went to the Dollar store and picked up 77 small metal pails and I was ready to put this cart of free flowers to good use. I called Nicole the DON of Hickory House and she met me outside with a cart so the flowers could be delivered to the residents. You know it's amazing when you decide to change the world 1 kindness at a time and give people the choice to be a part of that change what you see. I see a world that is possible to change if we all work together. I see the impact that I can have daily by just making the choice to try. I am only 1 but I know together we can change the world and make it a better place for the next generation. I have the power to help change this world to be a better place to live and I chose to do just that! I wanted to share this story and tell you all that together we can accomplish anything. Choice = Endless Possibilities..

On 7/15/20 I went to this Parkesburg Home Depot at around 6:30 PM and purchased a gas grille. I was assisted by a young man and a young lady that was in the on the job training program. I picked out the grill and made the purchase. It was a larger heavier grille and I asked for assistance loading the grille. The man that I asked for assistance wondered off and was socializing with his co-workers. Very poor customer service, thanks for nothing Home Depot... I was able to load it myself. This place is a dump. Take your money elsewhere.

This Home Depot tends to have more pressure treated lumber during this crazy shortage. when i could not find a few 2x6s treated in the Philly area, parkesburg had almost all the lumber I needed for a deck. My only complaint is how a few certain emoyees hound you, almost harass you. I told you, I don't need your help. stop asking me what I'm doing, what I'm looking for, and interrogating me. That really frustrates people.

I made a $144 purchase on a Sunday with my debit card. It came out of my checking account twice. Same amount and same transaction number. I called the store and the manager said to come on it for the refund. I went in and spoke with the manager. It showed in their system as one transaction. I said I can show you right here on my phone on my online banking where it came out twice. He said I will need you to email me your bank statement showing the double charges. Why couldn't I show him on my phone? So I was pissed about that. I went home and copied bank statement and emailed it to him. He emailed me back and said I would have to come back in again to run my debit card and pin for the refund. REALLY??? So it was a couple days before I got back in. I go in at 1 pm and he is out to lunch. The girl said he should be back in 5-10 min. So I waited 15-20 minutes till he wandered on In. I was beyond pissed at this point. So almost 10 days later and I finally got my $144 back. It will be a long time before I go back to this store.

Thank you so much Home Depot and your lack of due diligence allowing some scum bag to drain my account at your facility. No verification of card or ownership of account. Now I have to spend hours trying to correct the fraud that took place at your establishment in hopes of recovering my money.

Home Depot Parkesburg is just a little smaller than the Downington store. Parkesburg staff is friendly and they have what we need. Dog friendly store which means a lot to me since I sometimes train my dog there.

Employees here are extremely rude and not helpful at all. They are ineffective to be specific.Especially the elderly women at the service desk - like seriously, spare me with your evil judgmental looks and tone of voice in-front of my small children! Instead of getting a manager like I asked, she just kept repeating that they don't have what I'm looking for, even tho I called and asked before entering this store.She didn't even offer an apology for being misinformed. I called this store 5 mins before entering, specifically looking for something and to confirm it was in stock. The person on the phone assumed me it would be there. I took my two toddlers out of the house, which is a difficult task on its own and I get to the specific section in this store and another employee informs me that they didn't have what I was looking for. So I don't understand why someone on the phone in that specific department would tell me otherwise and literally waste my time. Bottom line - don't expect to be approached in helpful manner by these employees or even be told correct information on the phone before you get there. It's a guessing game here.

Our Blinds were installed by Fred. He was courteous, fast, and careful. He called us to see if we had the blinds because he was nearby and so it was done quickly and smoothly.

Ordered a dryer. Was told a 4 hour window for today it will be here. Just got a call It will be here on Tuesday. Unacceptable. Now I have to spend more money at the laundromat.

Sales girl that was helping me in the flooring department was outstanding she answered all my questions without being rushed or impatient with me. I actually had a good time at Home Depot
