To call this a "two star" hotel is a big stretch. Total disregard for everything. I'd be embarrassed to work there. Save the $86 and just sleep in the dumpster out back, it's cleaner.Note to the hotel- Don't bother wasting your time with some empty response. Use that time to replace the moldy ceiling tiles or rattling heaters.Noteworthy details: Random Black hairs on the mattress upon arrival

This place is a dump and the people who run it are so mean! They canceled our reservation and we were out $200, definitely calling the better business bureau on them. Every room smells like cigarette and the tubs are moldy. The service is just terrible I wouldn't spit in their direction just disgusting.

Quiet area friendly staff a little dated but works great with the area here. Is it perfect no but bang for your buck two thumbs up. New favorite place to stay when we are visiting in PA.Rooms: Rooms are a work in progress, but have stayed in many worse. Space is adequate for 4 person family. And for my hobby having an outside entry door is perfect. Just remember a coffee maker, I never leave home with out one anywaySafety: Well lit up at night, didn't have any problems getting in and out low traffic area. Staff is polite and friendly

Excellent place for the working class.Reasonable weekly rates and great service. Not much in the area for amenities but I will stay again when in this area.

Awful. Do not recommend. Do not stay here. Building is outdated. Rooms are not clean. Found dead bugs in the air conditioner. Sheets were dirty. Also it seems like a family not only runs this place but also lives here. They barely speak English. Hallways smell like Indian food. Place does not feel safe or secure. I wish I could get my money back. Avoid this place like the plague.?

Filthy, filthy, FILTHY! Not much to review, you're better off sleeping in your car. Don't even bother! Bugs in the AC units, roaches, smells of mold. DON'T BOTHER!

Dirty old and This would be an example of just sweeping the I think they use the bed instead of the rug The stains on the comfortprofessor were befor even touching the Bed. You're view from the window of hundreds of Cigarette butts. Is quite dazzling. . Could be Renovated. But if the pictures on the website are to reflect the room they must have been taken 20 years ago. I don't know what kind of a science experiment is going on with a drop ceiling in the bathroom with no Exhaust Fan. Typical mold mildew. Person that checked me in Could definitely take a Class on manners. Just being honest. I don't benefit from this review obviously. .

Shocking how this place is still in business, to be honest. 6 rooms booked, 8 rooms with roaches (had to swap a few times since some were way worse than others and was refused past 2 swaps). Black mold in one of the rooms. 4 different pots and buckets in the hallway to pick up the leaking ceiling. Owners don't seem to care, but maybe they just don't have the money to do anything about the many problems they have. You will be fighting bugs in the morning. Not allowed visitors, so if you have family at another hotel visiting, they will be kicked out.

Very disgusting ended up not staying here after getting there! Rooms smelled like pot, and mold, had bugs flying around, the sealings in hall way were half falling down with buckets in the hallways, bugs in the pictures in the room, burn holes in bed linins, carpets were never even vaccumed, i could go on and on. The manager was very rude and wouldn't refund the money that paid for the rooms even though it was refundable!!! Dont waste your time or money it gross and filthy and needs to be shut down ASAP!!!

Driving from NY to Chicago started out very tired. Needed a place for a few hours to crash out. Way off the highway, smelled bad in the room. Mold smell. Hallway smelled like pot. Probably had bed bugs, but didn't check. I stayed a few hours and went and slept in the car. I wouldn't stay here again unless I was desperate. This hotel just sucked. Probably one of the worst hotels I have seen. Staff was nice.

Going to Knoebels, this is a great option that is inexpensive and close by! It's 10 mins away. They have SURPRISINGLY super fast internet (50-150 mb wifi!!). My room was clean, but keep in mind it's an old hotel that needs updating. Flat screen tv, fridge, in room sink, etc. If you aren't happy with your room, ask for another one.The family that owns the hotel lives on site and are friendly, so if you have an issue with your room, I would let them know. (I did not). There's a bar down the hall that's a bit run down, but has cheap drinks. I basically needed a quiet place to work from during the week, and this place fit the bill. We've stayed in Danville in multiple times at the Super 8 (when going to Knoebles), and we won't stay there anymore its just become too rundown, especially for the money.

Not much I can say honestly. My mother always told me if I don't have anything nice to say I should remain quiet.. You guys may want to work on your public relations skills tho...

I'd give it zero stars if I could. The man at the front desk was snotty and acted like we were an inconvenience to him. I used to stay in this hotel a lot going to Knoebels as a kid, and it was never horrible. It's gone way downhill. I booked for 6/28/21. The total price was $92.65 for 4 people in a room for one night. Not bad, but I ALSO had to shove out another $100 for a security deposit (understandable, I'd get it back). Upon entering, nothing seemed out of the ordinary, or bad, but the room wasn't the CLEANEST; smoke stained ceilings, small stains on the bathroom walls, etc, but not a HUGE issue. We are okay until about an hour and a half into our stay when one of our friends sees bed bugs. We took pictures, and even brought the front desk man to the room to see them. He completely brushed it off, blamed it on "previous customers," that "nobody else was having this issue," and refused to give us a full refund on our room. It doesn't matter if anyone else had the issue. The point is there were bed bugs and if others aren't having these issues *YET* guaranteed they can and will overtime, and it takes thousands of dollars to even hope to get rid of them for good. We did NOT want to finish our stay and take them home with us. He THEN stated that if we would have just said we "didn't like the room" that he would have given us the full refund. So, they'll refund if it isn't up to someone's standards, but not for BED BUGS?... I have since contacted the Red Lion Hotels company (who they are affiliated with and operate through) to try to get the rest of my money back. This is absolutely unacceptable. Do NOT go here. Absolutely DO. NOT. I will update when and if I get my other $92.65 back. Waiting on the confirmation E-Mail.

I was fine with my stay. But I left my phone charger in my room and called as soon as I realized it. Staff lied and said the room was cleaned and nothing was found. I know I left it on the bed. How simple is it to be honest? I just bought the charger. I can't afford to get another one because of this trip. Sad.
