I needed a tool that Google said was at my local Ace Hardware, which is in Pennsburg Pennsylvania. When I got to the store, they did not have the tool although google said they had five in stock. After speaking with Jecinda, she took it upon herself to drive to another store and get the item for me. I picked the item up a day later. Great service and Jecinda is a great employee who went above and beyond for a local customer.

Will never come to this location again!! I called and asked if a service was provided there and I was told yes, I went there to have said service done and was told by the manager that they don’t do that there and all I simply said was oh ok I was told you do when I called in and and he said no one here would have ever told you that in an angry voice, so he basically called me a liar which I called him out on and then he proceeded to raise his voice to me and told me to get out of his store and I told him he really needs to work on his respect, manners and customer service after that he looked at me and laughed and said “bye bye now” all of this while in front of my young son, which he’s lucky my son was there or things wouldn’t have ended well for Vince. This store is a joke!! The owner is on here saying sorry to all the bad reviews but it’s obvious that the owner doesn’t do anything about it!

Brandon Q. was absolutely the best. I spent an entire hour going through colors with him trying to find a color that fit the base paint I had purchased on sale. He did not get upset or angry. He even let me use the mouse and keyboard to navigate different color options while he helped other customers. I literally had him look at least 20 colors to see if they were compatible with the base paint. We finally found the perfect one. I apologized for being such a bother and he was like you are no bother at all. He made sure we had all the right tools to paint. What a gem!!

Every time I give this Ace a shot, I regret it. The most basic repair items you’d expect a hardware store to have are either out of stock or never carried in the first place. Being the only hardware store in town, you’d think they’d keep the shelves stocked. Instead, it feels like a gamble every time you walk in.
Meanwhile, Lowe’s and Home Depot are just 15–20 minutes away and guess what? They’ll actually have what you need, and at a normal price. At Ace, if they do have it, it’s usually marked up 2–3x compared to anywhere else.
Bottom line: save your time, save your gas, and skip this place. Go to Lowe’s or Home Depot and avoid the disappointment.
Do better, Ace.

Excellent problem solving and solutioning for a large paint job. Store did not have on hand enough gallons of higher end paint for a major job which is understandable. Manager extremely accommodating allowing me to substitute and leave with enough gallons to get started. Placed order for more upholding price. Sotre Manager and paint staff extremely accommodating. I have been buying benjamin moore paint for this store for a while and never have had an issue here. Would recommend ace pennsburg for paint needs as they carry the full benjamin moore line. If getting 10 or more gallons recommend placing order.

I recently purchased a Stihl Weed Trimmer from ACE Hardware in Pennsburg, PA, and the experience was top-notch from start to finish. The staff’s expertise stood out immediately—they knew the product inside and out and took the time to understand my needs. Even better, they went above and beyond to help me find the best price available, which was a pleasant surprise!
Customer service like this is rare these days. Every interaction was helpful, professional, and genuinely friendly. It’s clear they take pride in making sure customers leave with confidence in their purchase. I wouldn't hesitate to shop there again—ACE really lives up to its name. I would like to call out their manager - Vince Brown. He definitely runs a tight ship and his employees are very skillful and knowledgeable.

Tracy jumped in behind the register because the line was backing up, of course I had price tag issues, but she quickly got everything taken care of and out the door I went! 😁👍🏼
