The YMCA is an absolute horrible place. This is the second time we've been overcharged with no explanation and when we tried to cancel, we still have to pay for next month as well. Definitely a big waste of money.

It's a pretty standard YMCA. Problem is their employees/contractors lack emotional intelligence and empathy. I just had two bus drivers make an anonymous complaint about me taking too long in my car. Y'all got no business in my business if I'm minding my own. I was not causing any trouble to anyone. I am disheartened and disappointed by their actions and affect.

We joined primarily for the use of the pools and have been members since the facility first opened. The pool hours have become increasingly more restrictive over the years. It seems there is very limited availability for swimming and preference is given to swim teams. More options need to be available to serve the children, seniors, disabled, and everyone else who makes up the community.

I’m pretty sure they’re a funding front for ISIS and other foreign terrier organizations

Very disappointing zero flexibility policies. My mother flew in from Georgia, so I decided to bring her as a guest to play with my son in the outdoor playground while my husband and I worked out in the gym. They said guests cannot use the playground at the time because they only have the entrance into the playground from the outdoor pool open and they do not allow guests in the outdoor pool. I told them she would not be using the outdoor pool, to which they replied they did not care/it did not matter. I asked if someone could escort her to the playground so she could only be there, they said no. They didn’t offer any other solutions except that she had to pay for a membership, but she lives in Georgia and not this area. So we left frustrated.

People up front have no idea what they’re doing when signing in person/s from another ymca. Attitude and terrible service.

If you’re looking for a gym go somewhere else I walked in and walked right back out. I wanted to try their facility to make sure it was a facility that I would like to be coming to every day they would not even permit me to buy a guest pass or a weeklong membership they wanted me to spend all my money upfront on a membership before even touring the facility or trying out any of the equipment. At a place that is supposed to be open for the community they sure are not open for the community. I have gone to several YMCA‘s that have treated me much better and have given me free day passes before. I suggest going to the max fitness clubs up the street from them much cheaper membership and way friendlier staff with zero hassle hope this helps people looking for a gym.

UPPER PERKIOMEN YMCA IS FABULOUS!I've been a member for eight years and continue to be amazed (but not surprised) at the consistently top-notch cleanliness of the entire facility, and the number of programs compiled for every family member. The Executive Director, Michael Tannous, ensures consistency in first-class cleanliness, programs, and staff. I'm a former employee who worked in the Maintenance Department as part of the cleaning crew. I loved working with them because their standards of cleanliness for the entire facility were, and remain, above and beyond job descriptions.

This location is very convenient to my house but the hours of operation aren't!!....Especially,The childcare hours are ridiculous! The pool is never open throughout out like it should? And it cancels last minuteall the time!!...Sauna,same story! Like paying $100+ aren't worthied!! Definitely considering going elsewhere to get value. Am curious how they think they're doing a fabulous job running this place and charging people for limited services. This is extremely annoying!!

This place is amazing. The best YMCA experience I have ever had. Three indoor pools and an outdoor pool. Sauna and whirlpool are nice, and everything is brand new. When you arrive it looks like a ski lodge meets a hotel. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. I would definitely recommend it. Update January 2nd 2023: the pool area is closed between 11:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. everyday so if you are going there to swim or to use the sauna, the steam room or the whirlpool, make sure you're aware of that.

Awful pool schedule.. but upgrading my review because the locker room has been upgraded and we have been asking for this for awhile. Thank you for making the women's locker room quiet again.

The actual Y work out area is nice....I just really don't understand who designed the outside pool. It's completely designed for only small children, not much space and a hike to use the bathroom. It's almost encouraging people to pee in the pool. Kind of a bummer for parents.... Have to squat down to even get submerged. Nockamixon pool is way better.
