Listen to the reviews, get your truck from literally any other company instead. Have had truck reserved for over a week, show up at pick up time this morning, surprise! The trucks are broken and they can't do anything about it. Super cool. The people I called yesterday to confirm couldn't have mentioned that? The gal in the office was nice enough but seriously. Just go to UHaul to begin with. I showed up at the one down the street from this location in tears and they had me set up for my (tomorrow) move in minutes.

I was suppose to pick up a truck at one location, got a call saying it was not available, after I was booked it and was ready to pick it up. I ended up going to another (city) location, so unprofessional.

Not open on Sundays. Had to choose different truck rental company .. doesn’t make much sense when most people renting truck to move are likely doing it over weekend.

I got a call the afternoon before I was scheduled to pick up my truck to tell me no truck will be available. I have been calling budget truck all day to try to get a truck for my move tomorrow. I have no truck and need to be out of my apartment in the morning. All other rental companies are booked. I WILL NEVER RENT FROM BUDGET EVER AGAIN!!! Save your self the hassle and don't do it. Pay extra and ensure you'll have a truck.

I had a reservation for weeks to move across the state. The night before the scheduled pick up, they call and say they have no truck for me and to call customer service. I called them and they were equally unhelpful. Waiting until the last minute, they almost guarantee you will not find a truck anywhere else. Beware renting from them. They have no care for their customers. The truck I did see was very dirty with hair and cigarette butts after having been "cleaned."

Budget truck rental at 7439 gateway court, Manassas VA has extremely unpleasant customer service! Never renting budget again at least from this location. Customer Service lady very unprofessional in her words. #neveragainbudgettruck

1. Their reservations do not actually reserve you a truck. 2. The staff at this location told me to go to U-Haul. 3. The national customer service "inventory manager" never returned any phone calls. I made a reservation for a Saturday morning rental truck weeks in advance. Late in the afternoon on the Friday before, I was notified that they would not have a truck for me. I was told to call the national customer service phone number, they told me I would be contacted by someone from "inventory management" I called 3 times, never received any call back, or any response. Save yourself the hassle and go to U-haul on 12th & Washington

6 hours before I'm supposed to pack my truck and move from Philadelphia to San Francisco, I get a call saying they don't have my truck anymore. I had even called the day before to confirm, and had paid the deposit. They were unapologetic. Never again. Save a heart attack and go to UHaul (who were able to accommodate me that day).

I booked a truck for 8am on a Friday. At 745, while I was en route to pick up the truck, I get a phone call stating that the truck is not available, as the people who rented that truck beforehand decided to hold onto it for longer. The options were to cancel the reservation, or to wait until 9am to pick up a different truck at a location that was 20 min farther away. Because it was 15 min before I needed a truck, going with other options such as UHaul or Penske would have cost almost twice as much. We decided to wait it out, and go with the truck at 9am. We get a phone call at 9am saying that the truck is being filled up with gas, and then will be returned. We drove there and arrived at 930 (at the B st location), with no truck in site. When asked about where the truck was, we received the same story as a 1/2 hr ago. After waiting another hr, the truck finally arrived... with a huge crack across the windshield. One pebble could make it break. I wouldn't drive my own car with such a crack, why should I drive a rental for hundreds of dollars. By the time we were able to drive the truck back to my house, it was already 1115. I had movers that were scheduled to arrive at my house at 9am, and they tried to busy themselves with moving things onto the sidewalk. Because the truck arrived over 2 hrs late, the movers ended up having to stay 2hrs later than scheduled, costing us even more. Budget would only take $60 off the reservation, even though I had to pay $140 extra to the movers. When speaking with customer service about our horrible experience stating that their service was subpar with UHaul and Penske, the woman replied, "We don't try to be the same as UHaul or Penske." Well, Budget, maybe you should. I will NEVER rent from you again, car or truck, and have told others as well.
