I like the way the store is stocked. I usually find everything I need, but I have needed to use their copy and fax service a couple of times, and had trouble knowing how to properly use the machine, and they treated me like I was an idiot, and made sarcastic comments. This was two different workers at two different days. One day the fax machine would go through. I tried it two times on my own. Went to the guy behind the counter and he said something must be wrong, but it didn't charge you. He turned from me and went to another customer. No, concern for my plight at all. I went to another person and she acted like she really couldn't be bothered. Said I did something wrong, so she stood there and monitored me as I did it again. Wouldn't you know the same thing happened and she said the error code said the fax number was wrong. The thing is the number was correct. She told me I wasn't charged and turned from me rudely and walked away. I felt so bad that there was no one that cared enough to help me send a very important document I need for my prescription insurance. I'm a senior retired teacher, and they treated me like crap. Now I will have to find somewhere else to go to send a fax when needed. The other time I didn't know how to get a file from my phone to their machine, so I could get a copy of it. OMG! It was such an inconvenience to them that I wasn't savvy enough to understand what to do. She had very little patience and really couldn't be so bothered to explain it to me. She rushed through an explanation, and walked away to do something else. I had to figure it out for myself. They don't like to explain things at that store anymore. The old staff was much more helpful and friendly. This new group they have there now is the pits. If you don't want to help people, find another job.

I was thoroughly disappointed with this establishment and their way of doing business. I needed programs printed and finished for a funeral and so I uploaded my file, gave the specifications I needed, and left ample time for a short run amount, I paid and waited to be notified when the job was ready. 2 days passed and although I was notified that they received it, I didn't hear or receive anything from Staples "(dis)Advantage" that the job was held up or unable to be completed. I decided to call to see if there were any issues and I find out that the place where I thought the job was being done was not the place at all and I was told that they are "just the conduit" for where the jobs are actually done! In addition to that, according to the person I spoke to, they didn't even have the paper I requested nor was I notified that this was an issue! The website allowed me to order a selection of paper and the type of finishing I desired yet I had to settle for my job to be printed on sub standard paper and without the full bleed I paid for! When I asked how I would be accommodated for this huge inconvenience , I was told to "wait for the manager"! I have not heard from anyone and yet my money was taken for a service I did not receive! I will never bring another job to this place again!

Found a great deal GROUPON for holiday cards from Staples. Was able to create the car online easily, and submitted late last evening. Email said should be done by 8 PM today (overnight)... received an email at 845 AM and a follow up call from "Chris" letting me know my order was ready! Pick up was quick and easy, the cards looked great, when Chris realized I was there for my holiday cards he even complimented me on my beautiful family (photos). This is my 3rd year with Staples & my holiday cards. The service & Staff (Chestnut Hill, PA) are great, and the GROUPON deal - pricing can't be beat for overnight production! Thank you, I'll be back - oh, and I even got a few extra cards in the order too - very happy customer here.

The excellent assistance in purchasing a laptop with your Tech Services Representative "James".He has all the knowledge to help me select the laptop and was very patient with me explaining things that I did not understand. I was never so satisfied this much with any store employee ever before. What a refreshing change from the help you get from other places where you can by laptops.Your man "James" is the best and represents your store so very very well.

I use my local Staples often, and rarely need help because I know where everything I need is. This time I didn't know because I was there for my partner, and a store associate found me and led me to where I needed to go, asked me what I was looking for and got them from the case for me, helped me determine which item was what I was looking for, and was polite and funny.

Extremely poor customer service - Soohee at the copy service desk was politely unhelpful. African American male was polite and asked me to wait 'a few minutes' for my one page lamination, but simply abandoned my job and he was nowhere to be found! After 40 minutes, I asked an African American female service person to refund my money and give me back my documents I wanted laminated. She couldn't find them and had an attitude . . . Soohee also couldn't find the papers. Male who took my papers for lamination was MIA. James the manager was no better than the service people. Going forward, it's Fedex/Kinkos for me.

I was treated poorly and disrespected by two employees when I asked them how to print two flyers. One employee yelled at me if I knew how to send emails on my phone. When I complained to the manager about this employee he shouted at the manager he was working! I suggested to the manager maybe he shouldn't be working with the public. The manager apologized for the employees' behaviors and I didn't have to pay for the copies of flyers but the experience with employees was extremely upsetting and uncomfortable.
