My wife has some sensitive legs and feet after a childhood of corrective surgeries, so good shoes are important to her. Neither of us consider ourselves runners, but All Kinds of Fast stocks some super comfy shoes that are also good for walking for longer with less pain.
The store associate, a sweet quiet guy, floated between us and two other sets of customers and efficiently fetched us each new set of shoes we wanted to try while also serving everyone else. My wife found a style she liked, but sadly her size was out of stock. The associate let us know that that brand was would not restock for weeks, and absolved us of the sin of buying a pair online. We really appreciate that this store was there for us to help discover the right shoes!

Came in right off a run. The gentleman who helped me was extremely knowledgeable and the first shoe he picked was “the one” despite trying many others. Great experience.

Gayland is amazing. Came in for a pair of work shoes for standing all day needed them to be all black. They didn’t have what I needed, but Gayland got a pair in for me as soon as the next day. I love them and they’re working great they’re nice and light but yet still Cushiony. Thank you ?

I came in over the weekend and was quickly greeted by an associate who helped me with an alignment analysis. Found out I’ve been wearing the wrong sized shoes for years and after only a couple of days in my new Brooks, I’ve noticed a huge improvement in foot, knee, hip, and lower back pain. I can’t wait until my next yoga class to see how my feet perform- I’ve had to take breaks after about twenty minutes standing barefoot because my feet hurt so badly. Fingers crossed! Will definitely be going back!

Cracking up at Sarah Winters review because I legitimately just had the same experience. Walked in ready to buy shoes, received weird stares from everyone, then kinda chilled by the shoes waiting for an associate to acknowledge my existence and give me some assurance that I'd be helped when they were free. Nothing. Just awkward standing for 5 minutes until I googled Valley Forge Running co and left to go there. I've worked in retail and service for years, and it's just so weird to me that you wouldn't even say anything at all. Even just "we'll be with you shortly." Just makes the customer feel uncomfortable tbh. Especially in a boutique running store, where you can't even browse or try on shoes without associate assistance. VF running it is!

Great place for anyone that spends any time of their feet, whether it’s a teacher, nurse, walker, runner, and all the like. The staff will make you AND your feet feel comfortable. Crystal (Broad Street 10 Miler winner) and Gayland are extremely knowledgeable runners and coaches. I now make sure to replace my sports bra every time I replace my shoes -never felt better.

I visited this store for the first time today with the intent on buying multiple pair of shoes due to foot pain. First, no one even acknowledged my presence when I came in nor when I stood around waiting for an associate to be available, both of whom were within 6 feet of me so it's not like they didnt know I was there. Neither of them even looked at me. There were 2 associates present and only 3 customers, including me, in the store. While I waited for an associate to finish with their customer who was checking out, someone else brushed in with a return/exchange and that person was waited on while I was completely ignored. I asked if I needed to make an appointment and was told that I did not but the associate told me that she could "multitask" and continued to help the other very self-righteous and rude customer without asking me a single question or finding out how she could help me while the other customer selfishly monopolized her attention. I left and went to another dealer. Will not return.
Got a pair from Jim at Valley Forge Running Company in Collegeville instead. Jim was super attentive, knowledgeable and doesn't work on commission so I know I got what I actually needed and he made my day so much better after my terrible and upsetting experience at All Kinds of Fast.
