KWS is the center of our universe. During the school year our child can’t wait to arrive and getting her home often drifts to late afternoon. The approach to learning is excellent and emphasizes the teaching of how to think and not programmed what to think. In a world where the arts are being more and more down played and sometimes outright eliminated, I am thankful that the program at KWS still includes a well-rounded education. We are very fortunate to have this resource in our back yard!

Our three children graduated from the Kimberton Waldorf School, and are all very grateful that they had a chance to be with wonderful teachers, classmates, and a curriculum so supportive to growth and learning. They each have become adults with abilities to be artistic, flexible, creative, warm, caring, objective, and knowledgeable. Their college experiences led them to realize how luck they were to have this education, and each of them excelled in his or her own ways. I am very grateful to have had the experience of being a parent within the school community, because my/our parenting was helped and supported, I learned along with our children, and always knew that my children were known and accepted for who they were and are. What a better gift to a parent than to know the education their offspring are receiving is just right for them! Thank you KWS!

I cannot comment on the academic strength of this school - or perhaps more importantly, on the ability of KW to engender a spirit of inquisitiveness and problem-solving in it's students. But I can comment on their lack of moral and social strength. My kid went to this school from kindergarten, and the idea in sending her here was to keep her away and safe from most of the risky social aspects of public school. As it turns out, she indulged in pretty much all of it during her pre-teen years and beyond. Perhaps my kid is "unique." You be the judge, and decide if you want to put in the extra effort and expense to afford your child the same "public school" social experience.

A place where children of all ages thrive! Kimberton Waldorf school is education at it's best. Strengthening children's hearts and brains while developing their ability to create and problem solve is the basis for this education. This will look different during different stages of development but don't be fooled there is well thought out pedagogy behind it all. The teachers are committed and there is a strong community of parents working together to support each and every child. I am a graduate, a parent, and now a teacher at the school. Waldorf education is a gift in today's hectic world. It's worth checking out. It just might change your life. I know it's changed mine.

Our child currently attends KWS and has for the past 6 years. The schools early childhood program was a truly beautiful experience for him as he learned through play- rain or shine- surrounded by a small Forrest and garden wonderland. He continues to thrive in this community spirited, academically challenging and Waldorf based education.

Good school, though has become decidedly more preparatory in recent years.

We have three children in the school and have been delighted with the wonderful, highly trained, dedicated and creative teachers. Our children are encouraged to develop their individual capacities, their particular needs are promptly addressed, and their unique talents are fostered. They are academically challenged, blossoming artistically, and forming a deep and positive connection to nature. The high school is a vibrant and interesting community with bright and engaged kids. Our experience has been that the administration is attentive to parent concerns and responds promptly and appropriately. Teacher development and education is ongoing. We are so fortunate to have found this wonderful school!
