Two stars because the center is nice but be cautious when signing your child up for any outdoor camps through them. The camp description stated they would be moved indoors during severe inclement weather. Apparently a heat index of 101 degrees is not severe. I took a few early childhood education courses and we were taught that children should not play outdoors when weather poses health or safety risks. The guideline I was given for heat was a heat index at or above 90 degrees. That’s when the dangers of heat related sickness emerge. I understand in our climate camp would be moved indoors a lot by those guidelines, but when you’re nearing 100 degrees thats severe weather by any standards. No one is going to enjoy being out in that. They were the only people at the park. No other child or adult felt it was a good idea to be at the park and I’m not exaggerating. I didn’t see one other soul walking their dog or even sitting in the shade. I guess they had the sense to move their longer camp indoors or possibly cancel but the safety/comfort of the children in my child’s camp didn’t make the cut An hour in that weather is unbearable let alone 3. My child told me not to sign him up for anymore outdoor camps and those were his favorite. Two other parents made a similar remark about it and goes without saying we won’t utilize them again. It didn’t feel good paying for my child to be extremely uncomfortable. By day four he didn’t even want to go which was a first for any camp he’s done. The city had the sense to refrain closing the street in those temps so I was definitely surprised.

Nice new facility. Numerous fitness and exercise spaces including a boxing gym and basketball court. Private rooms can be reserved for conferences. Lots of parking. Great location. Welcome addition to the community.

We rented a multipurpose room and gym for my sons' combo birthday party and it was a perfect space! Clean, bright, very friendly and helpful staff. Tons of room for kids to run and play plus space for tables. Highly recommend this space for parties.
