Ruth Steinert Memorial SPCA is a nonprofit, no-kill shelter dedicated to helping abused, neglected, and unwanted animals. They go above and beyond for cats and dogs. The staff really cares, and the animals are well taken care of in a clean environment. This great organization does everything possible for the animals and works to bring families together through adoption. They also offer support and education to the community. Located off the beaten path in Pine Grove, it is worth the visit.

Amazing place with amazing people. Volunteer/donate if you can! I volunteered here for a couple of days and it was hard work but so rewarding. Best no kill shelter around!!

If you can't adopt support the rescue by attending fundraisers. The Be Ellie Happy Basket auction was amazing.
