This 7-Eleven convenience store is currently open from the morning to evening. It is not open 24 hours. I shop here off and on, mostly for snack foods, beverages, and lottery tickets. This store also sells some products for health, cleaning, pets, etc. I think that the prices are OK. The cashiers have always properly rung up my purchases.

7-Eleven is a convenience-store chain that has tens of thousands of locations across many countries. Unlike many other locations of 7-Eleven, this particular 7-Eleven in the DoubleTree hotel in Pittsburgh is *NOT* open 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. For over a decade, my husband and I have shopped off and on inside this 7-Eleven store. During our most recent visits, we saw products such as snack foods, frozen and refrigerated foods, refrigerated beverages, slushies and coffees, over-the-counter medications, feminine hygiene products, cleaning products, pet supplies, bags of ice, lottery tickets, etcetera. Prices were OK. My husband and I bought beverages such as orange juice, MTN Dew, Vitamin Water, V-8, Perrier, and iced tea, and we bought snacks such as peanuts and pretzels. The cashier promptly and accurately rang up our purchases, and he spoke nicely to us. We also used a lottery machine to purchase a lottery ticket, and the machine functioned properly.

Post your correct hours. It’s not that hard! Wasted my time walking to your store and it was closed.

Owner Steve is extremely mean and angry. He yelled at a customer once for taking more than a 1/2 dozen ketchup packets for his hamburgers, while I waited in line. Another time he got angry at a lady in a wheelchair, said "I don't have time for this" and moved on to other customers in line.Very rude person, I doubt this business would survive if it wasn't physically attached to a hotel w/ a main lobby door to the store because of him.Don't go in early mornings, when he's there.Later in the day/evening, there's 2 wonderful workers (Shannon and Jess), who are the best. I'd give it 5 stars if it wasn't for the owner.

See the other posts: NOT 24/7I just attempted an edit on the times, and it showed 5 days ago by the owner as 24/7.Today(Sunday) at 9:30pm, staff inside stocking, door to hotel locked, exterior security door closed.Yesterday same thing about 9:00.Hotel concierge says they close at 8:00.I could get the mistake, or it being an accident. But with the replies from the owner to others with "we will look into it" 3 months ago and then the update 5 days ago... to me that means the either blatantly lie, dont care or both.

It was great and convenient staying at the doubletree. Hours are wrong but Covid has changed a lot of things and that should be understandable! Can't please everyone but I sure was!

These guys are awesome (mostly). Seems to be only 4 people who work there in these Covid-19 days. Father in the morning is usually good, but I've seen him flip out a few times over simple cooked food questions on people. Same father w/ son team in the morning/lunch hr, never seen the dad go off. But the son Mitch is kinda a deutsch, tries to engage in conversations w/ people about random stuff like VPN's, newest gun vest he's bought, where's he's gonna go buy his new sweater, etc.. Which would be OK, except when there's more people waiting in line, behind the purson you're BSing with. People got places to be, gotta go back to work, etc. Come on. The 2 guys who work post-lunch hr, they are the best. You could not find more perfect workers, they're friendly, helpful, tell you new deals on stuff you regularly buy, just super friendly, good, pure-hearted people. And they obey Covid-19 protocols (almost "too much") but compared to the morning son worker, who's lax at times (grab food w/ gloves, touch cash w/ same gloves, put in new food in oven w/same gloves... , better safe than sorry). I'm giving them a 5 star for the 2 late workers who know people by name and are respectful and nice/pleasant and fun to engage w/, and such. If those 2 didn't work there, I would drop to 4, probably 3 star rating. Guess it'll depend if you there before 12-1pm or after 1-2pm for your own experience.
