Very kind service and staff, but $112.64 for vehicle state inspection and emissions was the highest I’ve ever seen. Too pricey imo for a state inspection.

I would be very very careful with this auto shop. Took my car in to get tires changed (double the price of another local shop), they claimed my car was “dangerous and needed new break pads” (gave me a $1K quote lol) I got a second opinion from another local shop and they said it was completely fine. The receptionist who called me was really pushing how dangerous the car was, it was a scummy sales tactic. Be careful.

Easiest inspection and emission testing ever. Don helped me out and was able to fit me in same day without a problem. Straight forward guys and got me in and out in about 2 hours.

If you’re looking for an auto guy to steer you wrong or charge you too much, do NOT come to Don. Also, if you are desperate to get rid of money, don’t come here. The last few times I’ve come in for diagnostic checks, I have not been successful in getting him to accept money.

I cannot recommend Don and his team enough!
New to Pittsburgh, I needed to get a car after over 20 years without one (i.e. I know nothing about cars). He got me in for a last minute appointment to do an inspection of the used car I'd just bought (for which he didn't even charge me). Don walked me through the issues and my options, including the ranges in price.
He worked with the company who issued my warranty and convinced them to cover all the things that were wrong, even though technically they only needed to cover half of it.
Again, having not had a car in so long, I was overwhelmed and figured anyone would just try to rip me off. But Don and his team are incredibly friendly, helpful, and professional.
If you're looking for quality service with an honest team, you've found it!

Just picked my car up, super friendly staff and I got an A+ diagnosis. They were super honest with their process and costs for repairs, and didn't charge me for diagnosing issues even after me insisting. Will come back!

Don and his team were so helpful! I thought I had a slow leak but they thoroughly inspected my car and it was false alarm. They even reset my tire pressure monitor, all free of charge. What a great place, highly recommend to anyone!

I was passing through Pittsburgh right before the holiday weekend. Called at 3:24PM (shop closes at 4:30). I explained I was down the street and passing through town. Explained my situation and I asked if they could just help just determine if my car was safe to get home or if we needed to stay in town for the long weekend until work could done. His only response “we are shutting down for the day but I can look at it in 4 days”. Luckily another shop on the other side of town was able to determine (By 4:05pm) my family could get home safely.
