Purchased a Stihl Chainsaw from this Ace location, employees were great during purchase and everyone was very helpful. I ended up not using the chainsaw as I thought I was going to help my dad out but ended up not needing it so it sat in my truck for less than a month before I came to return it. The young man at the register (who seemed to be a new worker) was very nice. He was having trouble doing the return on the register so he called his manager up. The managers name is Matt. Matt was very rude to me during this encounter and accused me of lying to him about the condition of the chainsaw and told me the chain was dirty after inspecting the chainsaw (That I had already returned at this point). Despite the chainsaw already being returned, Matt came back up to me while I was browsing the aisles and was EXTREMELY rude to me and started an argument with me over the Chainsaw (The same chainsaw that sat in my truck for almost a month in its original packaging and condition I purchased it in). I cannot believe Ace Hardware in GreenTree would hire such a rude, ignorant, and argumentative person to be a manager at their store. I will not be shopping at this location again because of Matt (who was working 4-6-25 around noon). Disgusting behavior by a MANAGER nontheless.

Depends on when you go And who is working The first day I went the Employees were wonderful the second time The next day the employee I First ask for help was very brief Rude and disrespectful The younger kid at the register Was a lot nice And did his best to help me come up with A solution to my problem , at least he tried and Was respectful

We love how much they pack into this store! They always have what we need..and usually options including the quality made but cheaper ace hardware brand. The employees here are always friendly and ready to help. We always go here first before heading to the big box stores and rarely have to fight the chaos of the big store because we find what we need here!

It's as they say...
Ace is the place with the helpful hardware folks!
And that pretty much holds true to every Ace I've ever been to. Always has super friendly, super knowledgeable, and very welcoming staff. They make it feel like a safe place to be. I really like my local Ace.

Very knowledgeable people
Very friendly service.
Found exactly what I needed for parts for my children's motorcycles.
If we ever need any parts for our bicycles for our YouTube channel "BMXMayers" we certainly know where to stop and pick up the hardware.
I will say though, some of the prices I came across were extremely high.
Then again though everything costs a fortune nowadays.
I didn't take any photos because I was in and out trying to beat the traffic due to the route 51 closure.
