Kamau is the star of the show! He's been my agent that last two times I've went in and made, what would've been a miserable, frustrating day 100000000% better. His patience and knowledge was top tier. Definitely made everything from enabling my app login to finally work to giving me proof of an unauthorized charge on my account be rectified. They are so confused about policy and procedure at this branch. I am currently disputing with them about whether or not I truly closed my account when I went into the branch and asked for the account to be closed. I am receiving NSF fees and notices because it wasn't properly closed, and I hadn't yet moved my autopay transactions to my new account. One of the branch managers (Clayton) continues to argue with me and told me the onus is on me to prove that I closed the account (EVEN THOUGH HE WAS THERE AND HELPED THE TELLER CLOSE IT), and that I need to pay the NSF fees. What a waste of my time! Clayton threatened to pull up the video and hold me accountable for the fees. I can't wait to see if this really happens because it will show him and the teller fumbling about to figure out how to close an account and informing me that it was closed. I have reported to the attorney general's office and will be checking in with my attorney after the New Year if I'm not informed that the video is reviewed, and the chargers cleared.

I use the Penn Hills branch. Everyone there is fantastic. I highly recommend Allegent and this branch. I love their free cashiers checks. The bank I used to use for them charges $5 per check. That can really add up! Phenomenal customer service!

Not good to do any business here period at any branch. More like a bank, not a credit union. I have a good credit score and money in both savings/checking and this CU won't work with me. I was given bogus excuses as to why but not directly thru a phone call - very impersonal. They have major problems communicating and that appears to be standard thru others' reviews. Additionally the mobile app is limited in function and currently will crash when using it - every single time. Oh, and they will also endlessly solicit auto insurance at least every other week in the mail. I will be closing my accounts and going elsewhere soon. Not surprising that I don't see the CU commenting on any Google reviews that are concerning.

Ever since it switched from Riverset to Allegent, they took so many things away. Can no longer call to see if a check cleared, can no longer pay a bill over the phone, can no longer see what you get paid the day before on the website. Legit disappointing & gonna start looking elsewhere.

You should be able to call your bank/credit union and get support. I've tried calling multiple times throughout the day, each time having waiting up to 30 minutes for someone to answer. It's end of the day Friday, and I work all hours they are open. Extremely difficult to get support.
