Barnes & Noble at Waterworks Mall is a large, neat, and clean bookstore that remains a popular anchor of the mall. The store offers a great environment for browsing books, doing research with WiFi, or simply sitting and reading. It is typically well-stocked with plenty of books to go through, and features a nice Children's section, a plentiful game and toy section, and a really solid selection of puzzles and games. The tabletop role-playing games section has an above-and-beyond selection. The in-store Starbucks cafe is reliable and great, with staff who can make tailored items. However, its business may have slowed since a standalone Starbucks opened, and its tables and chairs need a serious upgrade. The staff throughout the store is friendly, super helpful, and amazing, though sometimes scarce. The space is large with plenty of seating, even on crowded days, and plenty of parking in the back. Some note the non-handicap doors are an issue. While bathrooms are sometimes clean, they can also be awful and need monitoring and cleaning multiple times a day. Some customers wish the store would host more events for adults, like book signings or book club discussions, to reinvigorate interest. Despite the challenges for brick-and-mortar stores, many hope Barnes & Noble remains a part of the community for years to come.
They had what we were looking for. Mark was very helpful and the lady at the checkout was very pleasant.

Very large and clean, the lady who greeted us was friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable about the store/books on hand/locations. She was also attentive and willing to look up anything she didn't know. Very pleased.

I miss the days of the book store. Barnes and Noble are hanging on with this beautiful store location. Staff is friendly and selection is amazing. However their prices are not competitive compared to Half Price Books and Amazon. This location is top notch though.
