Lovely showroom at a great location.Large selection of furniture with plenty on display so that you can see, touch, feel and test their product line.Lynne is an excellent designer with a lot of experience and she was able to provide the color schemes and fabrics to present the best options, and there are a LOT of options.TIPS: Have the measurements for your space PREPARED as this makes the design process a lot easier = The room, it's measurements, length of wall, measure from corner of wall - to window - width of window - measure from window to new window or end of wall. Even know where your outlets are*ALSO, have a Budget or a working idea in mind as all the prices vary based on your selection, the fabric, options, etc.FINALLY, Bring Photos or even a piece that will influence/base the design around what you want or have. The Team there are excellent, but you have to work with them... And the easier you can make their job, the better the whole thing comes together.

My husband and I have bought two sofas from Lynne Lorenz at Bassett on McKnight Rd over the years. Lynne is extremely knowledgable about all of the products in the store, has great suggestions, and a wonderful eye for design. She is super friendly and helpful - not pushy at all, which we loved. Lynne followed up via email all the way through to delivery. We love our new furniture! Thank you Lynne!

Michelle and her manager couldn’t have been more helpful. We were looking for chairs to go with my antique table. The picture reflect that we are still in the process of unpacking from our recent move back into the Pittsburgh area, but the chairs look fabulous with my table and they are so very comfortable

I purchased $5700 in area rugs for a vacation home. I let the sales person know that we have three kids and three dogs and a cat. I was looking for rugs that were durable for a busy household but also made it known this is not our full time home. I was so happy with the appearance of these rugs but noticed instantly the rugs basically absorbed stains. If anything drops/dribbles/accidents even simply walking on with shoes, there is not an opportunity to blot/clean the stain. You cannot blot it with a towel as the stain immediately soaks in. You cannot use a carpet cleaner as the carpet will stain from even a gentle stain remover. You cannot vacuum the rugs on any setting other than the wood floor setting, no spinning bar whatsoever, as the rugs will snag/pill. Within a few weeks, they are stained from pets and occasional weekend use. I have bought nicer rugs from inexpensive places that I've had for years and there isn't a stain or a snag to be found. Even thought the sales person was so nice and helpful these rugs should only be sold knowing you cannot vacuum on a regular setting or stain treat. The sales person should have insisted or even strongly recommended getting the warranty. After contacting customer service they offered no solution only that after spending $5700 on rugs that we are basically screwed with stains everywhere and snagging and pilling. What a waste of time and money.

My wife and I ordered $15k+ in furniture in the fall. Our in-store experience was pleasant enough and the sales associates were helpful. After that, it all went downhill. We had to wait a few months for delivery… not surprising given the supply chain issues. However, when our order finally came, it was missing a nightstand (with no explanation). Our delivery crew was also completely incompetent, didn’t speak a single word of English, and caused hundreds of dollars of damage to our stairwell - not to mention scrapes and nicks to three pieces of furniture. We also found out after delivery that almost none of the drawers on our furniture slide correctly, essentially making them useless.Long story short, we were told our missing nightstand would be delivered ASAP (it took months), we would be compensated for the home damage (we haven’t been) and a repair technician would come to fix our drawers (they haven’t).It has now been 5+ months since our original delivery, with no resolution. We have spoken to customer service more times than I can remember, and it’s always the same story, “I’ll speak to my team and get back to you.” It’s nothing but hot air. They have zero accountability, no real answers, and frankly, just don’t care.I would never buy from Basset again. No quality control. No oversight over their shipping vendor. And no follow-up. Once they have your money, you mean nothing to them. How can a company damage your home, deliver faulty goods, and then just ghost you like you’re nothing? Well, that’s Basset.

Bassett Furniture - Wrong cushions delivered for my new sectional and broken leg on the sectionalAt the beginning of 2022 I ordered a sectional couch for my home which as I understand was delayed due to supply chair issues. It took 5 months to receive my furniture, when it arrived the sectional leg was broken, and three of the cushions were not what I ordered.I immediately notified the customer service of Bassett - that is a nightmare which is worse than the air line problems. It is now December 2022 and while the leg was repaired I still do not have the correct cushions for the sectional. A new set was delivered to a warehouse in a abandoned part of Ambridge,PA and I had to pick them up as the store on McKnight road says that they no longer receive parts etc. They were the wrong cushions - saga continues.I have been in the store face to face, on the phone to their customer service people who are hopeless except for Philip ... and tried again to receive help. I am always told there is nothing we can do; we will check with the factory, we will check with the warehouse. When you ask what factory, what warehouse you receive no response. I have tried contacting Corporate Headquarters but that is a endless loop of nothing.I really do not know what else to do except file a complaint with the Better Business or a small claims court filing and hit social media as much as possible. Today I was told that the customer service have noway of knowing if my order (which is their mistake) has been processed at all. It seems that the whole company is under new executive leadership and has gone through a shift in belief! They have left their employees without resources to aid the customers! *** leadershp is not their forte! If anyone has any ideas let me know. Thanks - RIGHT NOW I WOULD ADVISE YOU TO NOT BUY FROM BASSETT.

Zero stars. First off, we dropped 50 thousand dollars on one order. Not five, but FIFTY THOUSAND DOLLARS. You'd think our designer, as well as the store manager would help us with any issues...NOPE.We decided after the order we didn't want one of the large rugs that was recommended to us, which we didn't receive yet. We contacted our designer saying to take it off the order. Her response, "sorry, there's a 15 percent restocking fee" ON A RUG THAT WAS NEVER DELIVERED YET?!? Second, we obviously ordered a TON of stuff. So half of it was ready for delivery, we told them to deliver what's available. Their response was, "well if we deliver what's in now, when the other stuff comes in, you'll have to pay another $199 dollars to get the rest delivered." WHAT????? Most Furniture stores have free delivery, so we have to pay 200 bucks every time they deliver something from the ONE order we made????? Third. After paying 200 bucks twice to receive our furniture, we still are waiting on 3 more pieces that were supposed to be delivered. We paid another 200 bucks, were on the schedule for delivery, and the truck NEVER SHOWED UP. Waited ALL DAY. So we attempted to check on the delivery status, now there's no delivery scheduled, nobody has called us to apologize or reschedule, and nobody is returning our calls to see where our furniture is that we payed for 6 months ago. Save your money, go to another furniture store. This has been disgraceful.

The sales person in the store was very kind and helpful. This review is more concerning the quality of the couch as well as the warranty and the manufacturer located in North Carolina. Within six months of owning the couch the bottom pillow that you sit on and the back pillows were sinking a lot. In addition, the back frame support of the couch squeaked loudly every time you leaned back. I was referred to speak to the manufacturer about the warranty and it took them 4 months to send out a technician to look at the couch. The technician agreed the couch was sagging and repeated over and over that he ordered a new insert for the back cushions and bottom cushion as well as new springs. A week or two later I get a call from another person at the manufacturer who was clueless about the tech who visited me and said they have no history of anything on order. The firmer inserts were not covered under warranty and are a premium charge. The only thing that was covered are new springs which I knew would not fix the issue. Basically I paid around $2,500 for a 3 person couch that didn't last half a year and company wanted more money to fix the issue. Warranty is useless.
