Moved to PGH 2 years ago. Had 2 awful experiences at other nail salons and almost gave up ever getting them done again. The other salons were rude, racist and extremely unclean. Started coming here to see Eric (for my nails) and Kevin (for pedicures). Completely changed my experience for the good! The owners are a young couple, Jess and Henry and the salon mascot (their puppy). The kindest, most dedicated and deserving people I know. They put their heart and soul into this salon and their customers. They know you by name and remember personal details about your life. This salon is kept organized, clean and to the highest standard. I’ve never felt disrespected or mistreated ever here. They are inclusive and everyone is welcome here without judgement for any reason. They are a busy salon (for good reason) so keep in mind that calling ahead for appointments are recommended! There are a handful of other exceptional nail techs here as well, Karen, Van, Jenn, etc. The new secretary woman who works the front desk is also amazing. Coming to this salon brings a personal and positive experience that most salons fail to create. THANK YOU B&J nails for allowing me to fall back in love w/ this art form!! You’re not just a customer to Jess and Henry, to them you are family. <3 BE NICE :)))))

I hate to do reviews especially when they’re bad ones, but I honestly could have done a better job than what I received.. my pedicure was fine just the basic pedicure but my gel mani was terrible. I should’ve just done them at home. I sat at seat 5, pretty sure it was Vincent that did my nails. I can do my nails myself (professionally) but it’s always nice to treat yourself and relax.. this was not the case today. I have gel all around my nails, it’s bubbled. The color was not what matched the swatch. I will not be returning.

I have been going here since May of this year and I love my nails every time I leave. Henry and Jess are amazing and they always bring my visions to life with the designs and length/shape that I ask for with my acrylics. The atmosphere is great and the prices are very reasonable.
