Locked the doors early. Told me they were closed, but didn’t close for another 10 minutes. Told them I needed one thing but they wouldn’t let me in. All employees stood around the front cashiers for the remaining of the time.

Sorry but a good place to buy things you really don't need for a cheap price

Walking through the store made me feel like it would going out of business soon. While it still had all of the hallmark sections of a department store: clothes, toys, kitchenware, bedding, some furniture among others, not only was half of the store condoned off via half walls, but the sections that were present felt temporary and on their way out. There was a very large amount of just empty space near the half wall, and having no one present anywhere besides the very front of the store... it all just felt liminal.
Additionally, there were a significant amount of "shoplifters will be prosecuted, you're on camera" signs on almost every clothes rack... while I understand the need for stores to reduce Shrink, and that these signs were installed likely over the heads of the employees. This business decision discouraged me from coming back... felt somewhat oppressive.
Excellent staff.

Burlington is an off-price department store. I occasionally shop here to browse their clothing, shoes, accessories, housewares, and other merchandise. The products are leftovers that could not be previously sold by other businesses, so their selection is really varied. I saw some name brands and designer brands, and I thought that their prices were low. I picked out a few items to buy. No other customers were in line at the checkout, so I had no wait. The cashier performed her job well.

Burlington, which was formerly called Burlington Coat Factory, is an off-price department store chain that has roughly 1,000 locations across the United States. This particular location is at the North Hills Village mall. I had not shopped at this Burlington in several years (see my previous review below), but I decided to stop in again because I felt curious about their merchandise. As I walked around the store, I noticed that the back of the store was empty, but I still saw many types of products, including clothing, shoes, accessories, housewares, etcetera. I saw some name brands and some designer brands such as Levi's and Calvin Klein, and I thought that the prices were very inexpensive compared to the regular retail prices. For example, a Calvin Klein winter jacket cost $40--bargain! A few dressing rooms were available, but I did not use them. I selected a few items--socks, vitamins, and toothbrushes. I did not have to wait in line at all. The cashier called me over, accurately rang up my purchase, and told me, "Have a good one."
