Sonesta Simply is located near the Mall of Robinson in Pittsburgh and about 10 minutes from the airport. There are plenty food spots within a 5 minute walk from the hotel such as Jimmy John's, Burger King, Buffalo Wild Wings and a few more. Target is may 5 to 9 minute walk from the hotel. You have even more options when you start driving.I used the hotel shuttle to get to the hotel. This was a poor experience. They outsource the shuttle service. I waited outside for 45 minutes at the airport. I called the hotel 3 times for updates on the shuttle, with one being my initial call to say standing outside door 8 as instructed. The van labeled Hotel Express definitely needs new seats. The shuttle was on time taking us to the airport. I would advise Uber or rent a car.The staff at the hotel was friendly and helpful. The room was a little old but clean. The bed was very comfortable. The fridge and kitchenette area was very user friendly. The desk was perfect as I had to work. It was very similar to an extended stay type hotel. There was a gym, laundry, and other amenities available. I would stay again but again drive up and use my car or get a rental.

The hotel is very clean. The staff from front desk to housekeeping is top of the line, very helpful and friendly. The TVs are not good, couldn't access the hdmi for my firestick to access my local channels but other than that. The location is also great. Everything is within 5 miles, food ect.Rooms: Very clean. Very comfortable

First off, everyone there is professional and eager to help. I ordered the wrong room through a third party and they fixed it with a smile. Then I left some personal belongings and one of the bosses or should be the Boss took it to Ups personally for me. Used his cell to help make it work. Personal Items that could not be replaced. Alex went above and beyond it left a great impression for Sonesta with us. We look for Sonesta's in all the cities we go. On top of all that, the rooms are very nice,,, I'm going to go ahead and say it,, they are Luxury. I said the L word! They are clean and luxurious.

Warning ⚠️ stay far away from this hotel. The staff is terrible and they lie about customers in order to steal money. If you tell them you don't have money to steal, they'll just call the cops to have you removed. Very unprofessional. Keep an eye out for their up coming lawsuits and

I picked this hotel for several reasons. It was close to an event we were going to, it is big dog friendly, and it had good google reviews. The first two were true, but I have no idea why it had good reviews. The halls smell like garbage because they keep literal garbage cans at the end of each hall for guests to take out their own garbage. The cans are directly in front of the AC units, so the AC is just blowing fresh garbage smell down the halls 24/7. They only clean your room if you stay longer than a week. And the rooms themselves weren't exactly the cleanest when we arrived. We will definitely not be staying here again.

The room was musty and smelled like smoke. We could not stay more than a few minutes. The ladt at the front desk was more than reasonable and nicely cancelled our reservation.

The rooms are great, and Jessica that works the front desk this morning, Is great !! I stayed there a couple weeks ago, and the night auditor made a mistake with my payment, she quickly resolved the issue the next morning! She is the reason I give the service five stars!Nearby activities: Urban AirFood & drinks: There are many restaurants and stores nearby!

I had a pleasant time at this hotel. I really liked that there was a stove, sink, and dishwasher in the room. I could easily wash my daughters bottles and cups with no issue! They also had free laundry services which definitely helped keep our things clean for our next destination. They do not provide housekeeping throughout your stay unless you stay for more than one week, so be advised.

Nice, clean hotel in a busy shopping area. Hotel is geared towards longer stay guests with no housekeeping unless you are staying for a week. We were only staying two nights, so no problem for us. Beds were comfortable and the room was clean and spacious. All the staff we dealt with were pleasant and happy to answer any questions.

Very personable and friendly staff, great accommodations and awesome rooms. You get a lot of space for a decent price. I’ve been staying here with my children for a bit and they’ve all just been so helpful and courteous.

All of the staff are super incredible people. Rooms were always clean and perfect. There wasn’t room on the hotel shuttle this morning and the GM was so kind to give me a ride to the airport himself! They go above and beyond for their customers.

Booked a room here last minute and I must say it was probably the nicest hotel I’ve stayed in. After staying in California hotels, Florida, New York, and every state in between for work, this hotel not only was very clean and had a lot of things others I’ve stayed in didn’t (stove, dishwasher, walk in closet, washer and dryers) the staff was very friendly and didn’t hesitate to make sure we were comfortable and content. Shoutout to Brian and Vi for being so nice and welcoming. This hotel is also pet friendly which was another big thing for me because I had my cat. It’s right in the city so we were close to everything. Next time I go back to Pittsburgh, this is where I’ll be staying.

After surviving an all day excursion in an airport I needed to crash someplace once I got back to the city. I did a quick search and booked this before take off so I could just drive here, check in, and hit the hay. It may not be the best hotel around the area, but for what it is worth, you really do get your money's worth here. After my extensive travel over the past few months, this was the most spacious hotel I had the chance to stay at. It was honestly like staying at an apartment rather than a hotel. I wish I could tell you all about the amenities that I used, but I had no time to use the kitchen area. What I can tell you is that the basics are there to help you feel a little more at home than at a hotel. And at no extra cost. Checking in was a bit of a hassle. This is one of the few places I have come across in the Pittsburgh region that still require you to wear a mask when walking into the business. I was lucky I'm still in the habit of carrying a mask around with me. I did have to wait until someone came to the desk to check me in, but after the wait I was on my way to the room. I always give it a once over when I enter the room. Prior to taking my bags any further than the door. I have to say that this was the most spacious room I had been in in quite some time. The kitchen had enough room to move around and prepare an actual meal. The area off of that was the seating/desk/dresser area of the room. Then off to the right was the bed. Across from the kitchen was the bathroom. The bathroom had a bit of a weird setup to it, but was still spacious in its own right. I made my way to unpack what I needed. Cozied up into bed, as it was after midnight at that point in my day. Turned on the tv and fell asleep. I slept really well here. The room had darkening blinds, and even though the proximity to the airport and highway, I didn't hear a thing. Checking out was simple when it came time to that. Told them I was checking out, dropped my key, and then went on my way.

I was checking in this evening with one of the front desk clerks and every thing was routine as usual. But then a second employee came to the front desk cussing about his job and was extremely loud. Apparently he greeted me and I didn't recognize it.... my apologies I was talking with another staff member... But before I could acknowledge him he asked me if I spoke English and gave me a rolling eye look. I am guessing basic work ethics and customer service don't apply to this individual. Also noting I have a room on the first floor near the office and I can still hear this employee making absurd comments and cussing through the hall ways at late hours of the evening. Please Address Your Staff.I have had a long day of traveling and the last the thing I need to hear about is one of your employees personal life. If he is so unhappy with his job he needs to find a new path in life....
