My experience with Central Van in Pittsburgh was wonderful. I was making a move from the Pittsburgh area to Florida. I wasn’t moving an entire household, just personal items, king size Sleep Number Bed, clothes and kitchen items. I had called another agency and received an estimate over the phone. I gave them a deposit to hold the reservation date and was told I could cancel any time. A couple days later RaeAnn with Central Van came to my home to do a walk through to give me an estimate of the move. She was a pleasure to do business with and quite accurate regarding the volume and weight of items to be transported. She put me at ease about the entire moving process. Following that visit and receiving the final estimate, which did not require a deposit,I called the other company to cancel. I was told it was past the 72hrs to cancel and would not receive my deposit back. I started reading reviews of this other company and knew I had made a mistake. There wasn’t one good review. I started reading about these moving brokers and moving companies that add on more charges through out the moving process, use unsecured storage locations and customers having their items damaged or missing. After constant worry I called RaeAnn on the Friday evening, a couple days before my Monday morning pick up by this other company, and explained what happened. Her office was closed over the weekend but she returned my call first thing Monday morning. Because I was selling the house I had to be out in a couple days. After checking her schedule she said she could have my items picked up the very next morning. I immediately contacted the other company and canceled. The next morning Jacob, TJ and Chance arrived and did an awesome job packing and loading my items. They were very pleasant, organized and careful. Although I forfeited my deposit with the other company, the peace of mind I gained dealing with a reputable company with outstanding customer service was worth every penny.

Mark W, driver, Jordan C, helper, Levi from Morgantown, Driver and Erin from Morgantown, helper were all very courteous, and hard working bunch. They moved all our stuff carefully and with care. One of our bed had problem. Mark fixed the broken piece with glue and attached all other parts of the bed next day; the problem existed from before.They were all five stars crews.

Donnie, Jordan and Jeremy and crew were very professional and on time. The entire crew was polite and respectful of our belongings and new home. If we were to move again we would absolutely use this company again! Thank you for making our move extremely easy and stress free!

Our move from West Virginia to Ohio was smooth and on time. Driver Casey and his helper Josh managed to pack all of our belongings into a single storage facility while we built a new house in Ohio. Unfortunately, 3 months later when we unpacked that storage unit and moved into the house, we found a significant number of items damaged. Of course, it was too late to file an insurance claim (you only have 30 days ). I had to downgrade my review of this move for that reason.

The best movers I had in my 18th move. The men who loaded and the men who unloaded were excellent. Very respectful. Austin was great! Also a compliment to Carol Tortola who was always available to answer any question I had. I was so impressed that I never had to talk to a recording. So understanding when I thought the tote that had my photos in was missing, but it showed up in my condo. Thanks to David Hough for his professionalism. All in all a great moving experience. Thank all of you!

Donnie and Jordan did amazing job from start to finish. Everything was done to high standards. From laying Mats down, wrapping and boxing, and loading and unloading i couldnt have asked for anyone else that would have been better then these two! If your ever looking for a moving company i would recommend Allied Moving.

Throughout the last year, I worked with her on several complex client moves as well as an extremely specific and challenging job for a healthcare non-profit I am involved with. I had a very satisfied moving experience with them in December. They showed up on-time (within two hour windows) and finished the job in three hours for our three-levels three-bedroom unit. It took two days to deliver to Long Island, NY. The driver Matt Hayes showed up earlier in the morning and they finished the job within two hours. Everything was in good shape and only a few scratches. Overall, the teams are professional and responsive.
