Just feels good to be in that bank. Brings you back to the 80s.

I dislike this bank

Is it weird that they always ask for my social verbally instead of asking for my debit card or ID like my other banks do? They looked puzzled when I seemed nervous to say it out loud. Also they keep sending my replacement debit cards to the wrong address I updated years ago. Once Chase opened up I closed this and moved over as soon as I could manage. They actually asked for it three times the whole visit and even after also asking for my ID. Lucky there are finally other options

Went to deposit a check, and after waiting a few minutes, one of the two women working at the cubicles told me that they didn't have a teller and couldn't complete my transaction. Because I had walked 15 minutes to go there, I was a little exasperated, and asked when she would be back or if they could do it. They again told me that she was pregnant and at an appointment. When I asked if they were able to do it, they responded by saying that I could try back later and she might be in. And then for the third time, they told me she was pregnant and at an appointment, to which I said, I don't care, that I came here to cash this check. To which they replied, "Of course not" I'm not sure if they realize that banks are federally regulated, and they can't just make up their own rules. I've had an account there for decades, but I guess one bank (PNC) is as good as another.

I came to this location to cash a check that I received as a gift from family for Christmas. I have banked with citizens for several years and the check that I was cashing was a citizens bank check. I was dumbfounded at the way one of the tellers treated me when making the transaction. She was rude from the very moment she first spoke to me. Instead of greeting me politely, she rudely asked me if I had an account(this was after I swiped my debit card and put in my pin to start the transaction) then she demanded to see my ID, which I understand is normal, but it was the tone she had that was very disrespectful. After looking at the check, she told me that she had to call the person who wrote the check to “make sure what this was the amount they wanted to write.” I understand that there is fraud and theft, but treating a long time customer who does thousands of dollars in transactions every month like a thief is just wrong. There are certain ways you should talk to people when working in customer service, and having an accusatory tone from the beginning of a transaction is just wrong. Of course she lightened her tone up a bit when my family member confirmed the check amount, but the whole experience left me embarrassed and angry. It honestly makes me want to move my banking elsewhere. There was another teller there who was apologetic for the rudeness of her colleague, and I did appreciate her trying to make things better.

Billed me for paper mail after I declined this "service". Years later I closed the account and credit card, and they kept adding fees for 6 months after the card was paid off and in a drawer. Ruined my credit, now I cant get another card or lease an apartment. Citizens will ruin your life through blind greed and incompetent staff.

This is Not this Citizens bank but to all citizens bank. After spending six years and two deployment I have it up to here with this bank. After how this bank treated me on online is horrible and now helping me when I call. With an wait time of 20 minutes. I tried for three weeks to setup an account with a outside bank and after I email all the information to them three times. This bank is still not helping me. I recommend switching banks or not using this bank at all.

I just stopped in at this location to withdrawal some money from the ATM. Since the ATM did not give me the increments I wanted I walked over to the teller counter to ask about getting change. They simply refused to give me change when I asked because I am not a Citizen's Bank customer. I then told them that I just paid $3.50 to use the ATM, that makes me a customer right? They said no, refused service and showed me the door.

So, I tried to open an account online, but I was having issues because I just moved to Pittsburgh from out of state, and my ID didn't match my mailing address. My boyfriend contacted the nearest branch to see if I could get assistance that way. He spoke with Carlos Strong, a banker who said we should just come in and he would see how he could help us. Carlos was amazing! After he realized that I wanted to keep an online reward offer, he contacted the appropriate departments via phone to see what documentation I could submit to complete the online process. He was so patient and very kind. Waiting on hold can be very frustrating, so I'm glad he helped me through the process and gave me clear directions on how I should proceed. My application is still being processed (I just finished submitting the documentation). I just wanted to share how pleased I was with my experience.

Very helpful and informative tellers. Only downside is there is a popular bus stop right at the outdoor ATM, i've never had a problem at it, I just don't want a crowd of people around me while i am withdrawing money. But there is an ATM inside also.
