I can't believe how comfortable someone could be with talking at customers so disrespectfully and be so short-tempered with them when they're just calling to double-check what they were told by the 1800-number before coming into the branch. When a person is having problems with their account and they're being told to contact the 1800-number, contact the branch, call the 1800-number, go to the branch, and they're just being told so many different kind of things...the last thing anyone needs is to be talked down to when they're already having a hard time. And after being scolded like I was some child, then she told me I needed to call the customer service number and make a claim today just to talk to three different reps and to be told that there's no way that I would be able to make a claim on this issue.

Everyone who works at this branch has the most awful customer service "skills" I have encountered. From the bank tellers, to the branch manager, who was the worst out of all of them, all employees are very unkind. After losing $500 in this branches ATM, I called to speak to the branch manager and I had to speak to 5 bank tellers who were very snarky, sarcastic, and ignorant, before I could even speak to the branch manager. Once the branch manager answered the phone she just said "hello", she was very unprofessional and argumentative towards me. After I politely told her about one of the snarky remarks her employee made toward me, she decided to gaslight me and tell me her employees are not ignorant. I have already been in direct contact with her supervisor- and if it was not for another branch who so effortlessly, kindly helped me with this issue- this branch would be my reason for switching to another bank.

I have been with them for about 2 years and I very much like the service..I get my paycheck 2 days early they have an excellent fraud service very easy to navigate and the people inside are very helpful

The employees that work here are extremely nice which is why I gave this 2 stars and not 1 but Citizens Bank is terrible. I deposited money into the ATM a week ago and the ATM ate my money. The bank was closed for a holiday so I filed a claim through ths 1800 number and still have no received my money even though the ATM was cleaned out 4 days ago and now I have been hit with countless overdraft fees. As soon as I get my money back I am switching banks

Please go to another branch . Not sure if it was the branch manager but they put a notice on a check I was cashing FOR NO REASON. I am the owner of this account so not sure what was the issue with this lady . I went to another branch and they confirmed they can’t do that, I had to write down another check because the old one is useless.This lady was also asking some questions that does not have to do with “security question”Make yourself a favor and go to another beach

I've been banking with these guys for 20+ years, both my business and personal. They go through employees faster than McDonald's, i remember asking a teller once around 2010 and she said she made $9/hr. Owned by the Royal Bank of Scotland, they sell mortgages, close credit lines without warning, convert home equity loans to fixed fast payoff(again no warning), are'nt accommodating, and won't negotiate. The employees try to help, but their hands are tied. And don't get me started with the maintenance fees on my ira's with them. I finally got pushed to the limit, so i am putting in the effort to switch all my accounts to anyplace else. I'm writing this review only because I'm reading reviews of other banks right now, looking...

This is Not this Citizens bank but to all citizens bank. After spending six years and two deployment I have it up to here with this bank. After how this bank treated me on online is horrible and now helping me when I call. With an wait time of 20 minutes. I tried for three weeks to setup an account with a outside bank and after I email all the information to them three times. This bank is still not helping me. I recommend switching banks or not using this bank at all.

I've had an account w/ them for 2 years now & they're the worse to deal w/. I've went over a couple times by $1.00-$5.00 & they ended up charging me almost $60.00 for it... Quite a fee for such a small amount. Most banks I've dealt w/ give a grievance up to $10.00 but not them. They're nothing short of a scam hiding under the term "financial institution". I quit putting my pay check & other funds in there. I had it switched to my other bank. thank goodness. They were robbing my single family income of money.I got tired of the fees, sometimes even when the funds were in there, it was some bogus fee on my statement. I used the atm a couple times from my other bank & credit cards & they charge a whopping $5.50 to get money out of it. The screen says there will be a fee of $2.50 for using it but later on my statements it showed another $3.00 listed as citizens bank.. That's a sign of bad business & the business not doing well so they make up their money by ripping people off. Also the settlers ridge branch hours were open until 7pm which worked fine for me being as though I got off later than traditional bank hours, but there were 3 times I went there at 6:20-6:30pm & the window was closed. After driving there & rushing, what a pain in the butt. I called to find out if they changed their hours but they insisted that I was wrong & that couldn't be possible. Like normal people can't tell time.. what a joke. A few weeks after complaining, they had a whole new staff in there so instead of just saying there was a problem, they pretty much accused me of lying... Bad business.. I'm done w/ them. I've closed my account. & there are lots of reviews the same as mine, so do a google search before opening an account, you will see it.
