City Books is a hidden gem and an awesome little bookstore located in Pittsburgh's North Side, in an adorable neighborhood. It is Pittsburgh's oldest used bookstore. This unique shop offers a wide selection of used, rare, and previously loved books, alongside a great curated collection of new titles. It provides a mix of different genres and eras, giving the opportunity to uncover surprising and one-of-a-kind literary treasures. The store has a cozy, charming, and classic atmosphere with beauty and classic flare. It has a small footprint but a big heart. The staff provides lovely and personalized attention, and the ownership is noted for its professionalism, strong online presence, and contributions to the bookselling and local community. They facilitate orders for customers even from afar. The bookstore is surrounded by a small yet vibrant ambiance of terraces, restaurants, and pubs, perfect for relaxing after a visit. However, it is important to note that the store lacks a wheelchair ramp and is not ADA compliant, which prevents accessibility for all. City Books remains a perfect place for book lovers seeking a sense of discovery and an enriching experience.

Lovely book store. Very welcoming and it was fun to just look around. They have some blind date books and all of the descriptions were really intriguing. Had to get one of those!
