I had a wonderful experience purchasing here. The staff is extremely helpful and knowledgeable. I even had a little butterfingers moment in the shop (sorry again!) and both people working there were so kind and understanding. As an accident prone, easily embarrassed person, I really appreciated that.
Although I’m relatively new to the plant game, everything looked healthy and well maintained. I was with a very seasoned plant owner and she was also impressed! The selection is well spaced out so you can really see your options and they have really cute pots to choose from.
I highly recommend visiting!

City Grows plant store has the best customer service I have encountered. The cashier (Amanda) who takes time with you to explain the different types of plants you are interested in and never seemed bothered about all the questions I asked. Also the Owner (Tony) who doesn't mind a call on his cell to ask a question (That's unusual in it self) Overall I'm have been extremely pleased with the products offered at City Grows and the customer service. Great store.

I was in town visiting my daughter. She took me to the strip district and I couldn’t resist popping in to look at plants. We found our way to the back of the store looking at the cute little low light-required plants. I looking through them picking out a few I wanted to buy. I noticed the lights went out once but came back on. I continued to chat away with my daughter while scanning the plants with my phone app for the name and care requirements because they were not labeled. The lights went off again but stayed off the second time. Mind you I was in the back of the shop, there wasn’t much sunlight getting back there wit was dark! I asked my daughter what time it was she said 5:54p. I went to the register to pay for my plants and asked if they were closing and she said yes. I really wanted to say much more because it was not 6 yet, but she felt fine with shutting off the lights on me well before closing time instead of just letting me know they were closing soon. I regret not leaving those plants right there but I bought them anyway because I liked them.
Looking at the other reviews I see rudeness is the norm. Sad.

Absolutely love going to this place! I've gotten many wonderful plants here. The only problem I have is with the cashiers. Almost every time I go here, the cashiers are rude, inattentive, and honestly just miserable people. You work at a plant store! Plants make people happy! The one cashier was reading a book and didn't look up until I got her attention, and then looked right back down without a word. I asked the price of an item without a tag and the cashier scoffed and rolled her eyes before walking to the back to see. I would normally not review, but it's happened now with 4 different employees, each of them more miserable than the last. Love the store, but tell your employees to leave their baggage at the door or find a new job.

I wish it would’ve worked out but the marble queen pothos I got here died in THREE DAYS due to root rot. I did not touch it at all after getting it. I wanted it to acclimate to its new spot before worrying about watering or upgrading its pot. Every single cutting I then took of it rotted instead of rooting as well. Employees were nice enough but considering how expensive some plants are here i would highly recommend getting them from somewhere else where they are more diligently taken care of. Went from a nice bushy pothos to a rotted smelly mess way too fast.

I just want to say that the young lady at the register was very polite and nice during my visit here.
I’m a first time plant owner and when I came to the store I was hoping that some staff would be walking around so I could ask some questions since this would be my first live plant and I’m a beginner. But there was only the woman at the register. So any first time plant owners make sure to really inspect your plant before buying because there are no refunds.
I ended up buying 3 plants and grabbed them without throughly inspecting them and missed that one of them had a black/brown spot on the leaf (googled that this is caused by overwatering but I could be wrong like I said I’m a beginner). I finally notice the spot on the leaf when I got home and was really disappointed :(. I checked the other plants so far they look fine.
I think this place needs to really make sure they are taking care of the plants because instead of a overwatering problem it could’ve been something worse like pest that could’ve spread to my other plants if I had any at home.
Probably would not come here again because of the prices and quality of the plants. If you do plan on visiting make sure to check the plant for any problems!

The atmosphere was nice , with a large selection of reasonably priced plants but buyer beware ! I purchased a plant the other day. It was so overcrowded in its pot I had to split it into four separate pots. Not only that, but it had some of the worst root burn I have ever seen. The thing was practically curling in on itself

Stopped in to Strip district on Sunday to check out this store which I've never been to. I have extensive experience with houseplants (not to mention gardening in general) and I know what I'm looking at.Needless to say I was extremely disappointed in the quality of 50% of the inventory. Yes, some lovely plants albeit pricey, but I don't mind paying up for superior quality. Most of the plants we looked at had vague or incorrect labels identifying the plants. Many of the plants had browning leaves or incorrect repair cuts. When I look for quality plants I expect nothing less than A+++ QUALITY, and that includes absolute accurate identification of the plants in question. I found this store to be lacking in many aspects. There was a display outside with one plant out of it's pot just laying there near soil. The people inside when questioned about identification gave me incorrect information about several plants that were labeled wrong. This place has the potential to be top quality but they need more attention to detail, better education of their employees. If I'm going to pay top dollar for any plant these things need addressed. If they keep business as they are now, I will shop elsewhere.

Cute little store in the hustle and bustle of the strip. A little oasis of greenery. There’s a ton of different plants of all kinds, big ones small ones. Whatever you’re looking for as a gift for that plant person or something for yourself. The staff is super helpful with finding whatever you need.I got a little plant as a present for my friend. And I couldn’t have been happier finding her something she didn’t already have.I would love to come back here and find something for myself.

Great plant shop with wide variety of unique and rare house plants. Some can be pricey but it's one of the best, most varied plant stores in the area.

Felt the plants were not the healthiest however, tons of people go through and touch them so it's somewhat understandable.
