the new flooring looks great but the smell of the flooring or glue used makes my wife have an asthma attack and we wont be able to shop there until the smell is gone

The only thing saving there deli is a fine young man, think his name is Eric. That guy was the only person i saw in the whole store actually doing his job. He stopped everything even though he was clearly the busiest to take care of the line, AND HE DID IT ON HIS OWN! Everyone else ignored the customers and walked off goofing around or doing nothing. Unfortunately 1 man won't be able to save this store. But that guy should get a medal or raise or anything, cause I'm sure this happens all the time

This Shop n' Save is pretty standard. Nothing special about it. The produce department is terrible. Now let's talk about the employees. I've never seen such horrible staff. There's a woman who works in the deli. She appears to be a manager. She is the rudest person I've ever met. Most of the older staff are just miserable and unfriendly. The only pleasant ones I've encountered are the teens/young adults. I asked a butcher if he had soup bones because I didn't see any out and he literally yelled at me and said "this is going to mess up my cutting because I have to go to the basement." So I waited patiently and when he returned with the soup bones I told him to f**k off and threw the bones back in the meat case. Immature? Yes, but it made me feel better I prefer to go to the North Apollo Shop n' Save. Everyone there is nice and it's well stocked. It's smaller but just better organized. Avoid this Plum/Holiday Park location

This store is absolutely ridiculous. The stock boys stand around with boxes to unload, but instead they are either busy on their phones or standing around BS'ing. A sloth could stock shelves faster than these kids. I guess that's the job criteria - we pay you to waste your time. They remove items that are obviously popular with the customers - never to return again. The fresh herbs are now - Wild Harvest - organic and to save you money - they are a whopping $2.99 - verses the 1.99 product they had previously. I was in there the other day and they are selling halves of boneless hams - that are in the case frozen!!! Do you know how much water is in these hams after they freeze? In the produce aisle - they sell fresh cabbage - that they have removed all the dark green leaves from???? Hello - we need the outer leaves guys!!!! This is why I shop at Ferri's - some items may be more, but the quality, and the clientele are top notch! You don't see stock boys screwing around at this store. Awful business!!!

Dirty and run down. Smells like urine. Have to watch for expired food. Coolers never feel cold enough. Limited selection.

As far as the store goes, it's your standard Shop n Save location. Nothing to phone home about as far as selection, but the prices are better than Giant Eagle. That said, I'll always avoid this location because the parking lot is always filled with the angriest elderly people I've ever seen. It's really hard to get in or out without some sort of passive aggressive road rage situation involving a geriatric driver. Periodically this spills over into the Shop n Save. I once watched a lady spit on a store employee and throw merchandise at her face because they wouldn't expect expired coupons. I've never seen anything like this anywhere else in Pittsburgh, it's truly bizarre.

Avoid if possible. Truly the worst shop n save in the area. Stood by the floral counter for 20 minutes before being even acknowledged. Store is always dirty, employees are obviously unhappy and underpaid, and management could not care less. I'd suggest making the trip to giant eagle instead if customer satisfaction is an important aspect of your shopping trip. I feel bad for those who have no other options than to shop here.
