A great place for a quick lunch downtown. They have soup and salads to take away and maybe daily options for a hot lunch too. Full coffee bar and lots of snacks and drinks. Service is always good and even when crowded, you won't Wait long.

I’ve been here about 5 times and the food is decent. I’ll even recommend people looking for something fast to come here. The food is mid and prices are high. Salads here are good though. The problem is the service I would give zero stars if I could. This is the second day in a row that a person checking me out didn’t great me, respond or say thank you. I don’t know if it’s because I’m black or what bc majority of the people here are white and they walk from the counter visibly satisfied. I don’t like to make that assumption but if I’m polite and kind plus leaving a $2 tip on a $5 item that was premade, I don’t see a reason why anyone would treat me like that.

The coffee is good, the food is mediocre.I ordered a meat lovers breakfast burrito and it was completely filled with spinach ?The salads are ok, but again they tend to put too much spinach in everything.

Walked in excited because I was told they have vegan options. Not really greeted, and no enthusiasm about explaining the menu. Very hands off. Ordered the vegan burrito with a side of roasted veggies. Both burrito and veggies are extremely bland, and I was really underwhelmed. The hype is just that...hype. I'm sorry, but typical Pittsburgh. The palates here are bland, and the food is underwhelming.....it also smelled really bad in the restaurant.Vegetarian options: Very bland vegan options.

This spot is run by Parkhurst, the same folks as Eat N' Park. They have a display counter full of quick entrees, sandwiches and sides that you self-order at a kiosk and they will heat up for you to eat there or take back to work. There is a lot of seating if you've come with a group; I work in the building and this is a frequent spot for impromptu meetings. There's also a very good coffee bar (pro tip: if you work in the Tower at PNC Plaza or nearby, get a latte punch card) and grab and go options like salads. As a vegetarian I appreciate that I can find several suitable options for myself here 100% of the time. Some of my frequent go-tos here are quiches and individual pizzas/flatbreads. Also don't miss the smoked gouda pasta salad or the kale salad as excellent side choices. Ingredients are high-quality, fresh and local, and a typical lunch will run you $10-12, pretty typical for central downtown Pittsburgh. Coffee prices are a shade under what you'll pay at the chains and far better quality. It's a solid breakfast or lunch choice, has long operating hours (7:30-4 every weekday) and is consistent and reliable.

I have been traveling to PGH for work over the last two years. I am very grateful for the team and the constant fresh, good Vegan options at CM. The staff is excellent, too! I truly appreciate all of you. There are so many good choices there to eat.

They make the worst potato salad, they don't cut the potatoes small enough to get the mayo to kinda soak into the potatoes like most people do and have they never heard of paprika. It has no flavor. Also I really wish they cut my sandwich it was as big as my face. The good thing about the place is you get in and out quickly without having to talk to anyone.

Corner Mercantile is an interesting downtown lunch spot with a diverse set of offerings. In addition to their pre-packed salads and protein snack packs, they also have a refrigerated display case filled with sandwiches and various entrees and sides from which a custom meal can be built and heated. They also have lots of healthy snacks for sale like Luna bars and Sun Chips. Finally there's a coffee and espresso station which makes some excellent coffee. When I was there around mid-morning, the cafe's atmosphere was very chill. The wooden tabletops and chairs were comfortable and I liked the music that was playing. It's a shame they don't have wifi, but I'll definitely stop by again.

Everything is pre-made, which I don't have a problem with, but the 2 vegan items were on platters with meat. Why not put the 2 vegan items on a platter together away from the meat!?! It's really not difficult and would make vegans more comfortable.Food was edible but I wouldn't go out of my way for it. BLT was dry and sloppy Joe was a bit bland, didn't try the burrito because it honestly sounded weird.

The food was incredibly mid but the vibes were correct. Not that the food was bad but I wouldn’t spend my money here again.

I love stopping into Corner Mercantile to grab a quick lunch when I'm at work. I probably should have reviewed this place 100 visits ago, but better late than never! My go to lunch is usually salmon (prepared different every week which I love!) and a side, but I changed it up and went with a pepperoni pizza flatbread and a side caprese salad. They also have so many options (salmon, chicken, vegetarian options, sandwiches, main and side salads, etc) along with a variety of sides and snacks. They also have a coffee/tea bar and some baked goods. If you're looking for a quick spot to grab lunch or even sit in for lunch, definitely check out Corner Mercantile. They have so many options that anyone who comes here should be satisfied!

Such a great spot in downtown Pittsburgh located right next to Point Park's campus. They'll even give you a discount if you show your Point Park ID! Super fresh and tasty food, love that they have vegan options ! Staff is super friendly and helpful. Highly recommend !
