Honestly, don’t waste your time coming here. I made an appointment weeks in advance for my bridesmaids, and when we showed up on the scheduled day, they didn’t even have us on the calendar—frustrating. They took us anyway, but the selection was very limited and the girl who helped us was not personable and barely helpful.
The dresses were ordered and came in a few weeks later. Alteration appointments were scheduled closer to the wedding, which seemed fine—until one of my bridesmaids (my sister) showed up for her scheduled fitting. She was completely ignored. After speaking to multiple staff members, she finally changed into her dress, only to find the person who was supposed to help her had vanished.
After waiting around in her dress with no assistance, she changed back into her clothes—then, suddenly, the staff member appeared, telling her she’d need to come back because they were overbooked. Seriously? What a total waste of time and energy.
And to top it off they sent my maid of honor a dress with a HUGE stain on it so they have to order her a new dress. They also told her she can get a rush on the alteration for an extra fee! Complete BS

I specifically gave a price range to the girl, every gown pulled was way over the amout. I also gave a description of what we wanted and was told they have several, only pulled one really ugly dress out. Then she kept whispering in my granddaughters ear. At the end I wanted her try one more dress on, she came out of the fitting room completely dressed, I said i wanted you to try one more on. The lady spoke up anc said I told her to get dressed she had enough!!!! Who the he'll dose she think she is ???? NEVER WILL WE GO BACK THERE AGAIN. THEY IWE ME AND MY FAMILH A HUGE APOLOGY.

Subject: Disappointing Experience at David’s Bridal
Dear David’s Bridal Team,
I am writing to express my deep disappointment with the service my daughter Destiny and I received during our recent visit. My Oldest daughter, Iylana, is getting married in July, and we came in with the expectation of receiving the same level of professionalism and care that we have experienced in the past which was always amazing. Unfortunately, this visit was nothing short of frustrating and upsetting.
From the moment we arrived, the employee assisting us did not make any effort to be welcoming. We had several questions, but her responses were extremely curt and unhelpful. At one point, I put my daughter’s mother-in-law on the phone to clarify details about the dress, hoping to make the process easier. Instead of handling the situation professionally, the employee abruptly said, “I’m done. I don’t need her on the phone anymore,” without even acknowledging or saying goodbye to the person on the other end. This felt incredibly rude and dismissive.
When my daughter was shown the dress, the employee did not offer any helpful feedback or guidance—just a cold, “You’re done, you can take the dress off now.” There was no enthusiasm, no effort to make this a special moment for my daughter, and it completely dampened the experience.
To make matters worse, when we got to the register, I was under the impression that we could make a down payment on the dress, as that option had been available at the David’s Bridal in the Poconos. However, we were abruptly told that this was not possible. The employee handling our transaction was not only unhelpful but also dismissive and unfriendly, making an already frustrating situation even worse.
When I inquired about alterations, hoping to get some guidance, I was met with yet another dismissive response: “I don’t know, that’s the alterations department.” There was absolutely no attempt to assist or direct me to someone who could help.

The young lady who helped us was very kind. We were looking for a First Communion dress, and after trying on 10 different ones, our daughter finally chose one! We decided to purchase it through their online store, though, instead of taking the one our daughter tried on. You could tell it had been tried on a number of times, and the button loops were stretched and the skirt was very wrinkled.

Davids bridal has amazing dresses and a variety of prices and styles for everyone. The girls there are extremely friendly and helpful.

EDIT: I am updating my review from one to five stars. I received a call from Peytia regarding my dress. She was very eager to help me solve my issues which I greatly appreciated. She went through ordering another dress in the size 2 and it arrived a couple of days later. It was only two days before the wedding and David’s Bridal couldn’t perform the alterations the second time around. I did have to go somewhere else to have it altered but once I found someone to do it, it ended up working out fine due to the fact that Peytia refunded me for the original alterations. I feel like I would definitely go back to David’s Bridal now. They went above and beyond (even though we all sign the disclaimers) to make this particular wedding day an awesome one and leave me satisfied. Thank you Peytia and David’s Bridal Robinson!
Alterations Department: Horrible unless you’re only having hem done. I’m in three weddings this summer/fall and the first one was using David’s Bridal so this is where my dress was purchased. The dress itself is a nice dress and the size 2 in-store fit perfectly, however they didn’t have any 2s in stock so I had to order a 4 which took a while to receive at the store (should you decide to purchase from here just order online and have it sent to your home) and of course had to be altered. The sleeves were taken up, the zipper taken in and a modesty piece placed. These alterations were $200. The dress fits horribly in the top. The dress is sewn crooked in the back so the empire waist doesn’t line up right. The chest now puckers all the way up to the sleeve. The modesty piece is sewn in crooked as well leaving it on a slant. Combining all of this, you can just imagine what the dress looks like on. When I brought this up in store the issues were minimized and I was told how good it looked. I have now got second opinions and they all say the dress doesn’t fit well, so it’s not in my imagination. We have tried everything to make it look better to no avail. I’m hoping that I might be able to find the same color dress off the rack at her local (out of state for me) David’s that I could just have hemmed at a dry cleaners. This has just been a big loss in time and money. Based on this, I’d never recommend them to anyone and I might even be deterred from participating in future weddings that may be using them. Sorry but this one’s a no for me.

My stylist was Kate and she was amazing! She was so attentive and supportive. She caught on very quick to what I was looking for and helped me sort through many dresses to find the one that was perfect for me. Highly recommend!

Took my bridesmaid shopping there this past Saturday and worked with a wonderful woman named Christina/Christine. She helped my bridesmaids pick dresses that best fit them and made them feel confident. She was wonderful!
